"Would you do it again?" "No!" grins our guest of the twelfth episode Pavlína Adam, answering briskly – the first Czech woman to walk the Great Himalaya Trail in Nepal.

"Would you do it again?" "No!" our guest of the twelfth episode, Pavlína Adam, answers briskly with a grin 🤣. Pavlína is the first Czech woman to complete an extreme trek in Nepal 🏔️ – the Great Himalaya Trail.

Only just over 100 people have ever completed this 1 700-kilometer high-altitude traverse of the Nepalese Himalayas. Over the course of the 101-day adventure, Pavlína and her trail partner Sarah crossed a total of 21 passes above 5 000 meters and 2 above 6 000, waded waist-deep through snow ❄️, threaded their way between glacier crevasses, got across rivers, scrambled around landslides, fought off spiders 🕷️ and leeches, bathed in glacial lakes, and unwillingly got a taste of an exorcism 😈.

Even though few people will ever repeat this adventure, that makes it all the more worth a listen. Enjoy 🎧!
