# Ultralight gear list no. 2 – base kit 5.5 kg

Authors: David Czempka

The gear is set up for down to 5 °C, so with a similar list you can comfortably head out on any mountain trek from warmer spring to autumn.

This gear list was put together for a mountain trek in North Macedonia at the beginning of summer. The gear is set up for temperatures down to approximately +5 °C (comfort), so with a similar list you can head out on practically any mountain trek from warmer spring to autumn. The trek was planned for two people, so the weight of some items is split in half.

**It's a full-fledged, comfortable gear list that includes enough spare clothing, a repair kit, rain protection in the form of a waterproof jacket and pants, and comfort items like a pillow and a sit pad. The base weight is approximately 5–6 kilograms, depending on what you count in the** ***worn*** **category.**
