# Cookies

## 1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Other technologies work in a similar way, such as the browser's local storage or tracking code. On this page we call all of them cookies.

They keep your cart and sign-in working and let us remember your settings. With your consent they also help us measure what works on the site and show you ads that match your interests rather than random ones.

## 2. Which cookies we use

We sort cookies into three groups, the same as in the cookie banner. Necessary cookies are always on, the others only with your consent.

| Group | What they do | Set by | Legal basis |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Strictly necessary | cart, sign-in, checkout, protecting the site from attacks, chat and remembering your cookie choice | Gramino, Cloudflare, Smartsupp | legitimate interest, no consent needed |
| Analytics | we measure traffic and how you use the site so we can improve it. We also record sessions on the site, with checkout and account details hidden. We remember where you came to the site from too | Google (Google Analytics), PostHog, Gramino | consent |
| Marketing | we show you ads that match your interests and measure which ads lead to a purchase | Meta (Facebook and Instagram) | consent |

## 3. How long cookies last

Some cookies disappear when you close your browser, others stay longer, at most 2 years. The exact period depends on the tool that sets the cookie. If you withdraw consent, we stop using analytics and marketing cookies.

## 4. What loads without consent

- **Google Analytics** runs in Consent Mode. Without consent it stores no cookies and sends Google only signals without identifiers.
- **Videos and maps:** YouTube video previews and the pick-up point map at checkout load from their operators' servers, which see your IP address. When you play a video, the YouTube player loads and stores its own cookies.
- **Smartsupp chat** is always available. Its own measurement follows your cookie choice.

## 5. How to change or withdraw consent

You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings, linked in the site footer. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies too, the cart and sign-in will not work.

## 6. More information

Who else works with cookie data, where it goes outside the EU and what your rights are is explained in our [Privacy policy](/privacy-policy). Send questions to gdpr@gramino.com.

Effective from 4 November 2026.
