And when he is not on a long-distance trek, he is out on long gravel rides, bikepacking or ski touring. ## Who is Kuba? Jakub has been part of the Gramino family since 2021. In all honesty, our memory of the fateful day the whole thing started is slightly blurred by a certain golden liquid. Jakub has taken on most of his biggest challenges together with his mate Martin Benc – this legendary duo never says no to a cold one, nor to a demanding trail and a proper mountain challenge. ### Where to find him For Kuba's stories from the road, head over to his Instagram: - [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/jakub_jonas/) ### What is his main travel motto? *“If it's pouring, we'll be pouring!”* ### What are his greatest travel achievements? **2024 – Continental Divide Trail – USA – 4,300 km** And here we go again – Martin and Kuba back in action! This time they walked all the way from Mexico to Canada along the famous CDT. After 148 days they made it to the finish, and there was certainly no shortage of stories along the way. **2023 – Polar expedition – Sweden – 115 km** A joint trip with Gramino and his first winter expedition above the Arctic Circle. Despite the snowstorms, we made it from Nikkaluokta all the way to Abisko. **2022 – Crossing Madeira – 135 km** A spur-of-the-moment trip – he decided from one day to the next that he was flying out.
