The 850 model is perfect for those who set out on winter hikes even in colder temperatures. Well-designed down sleeping bag for winter adventures that weighs no more than it has to. ## Materials The manufacturer has opted for the proven **Pertex Quantum fabric** weighing 29 g/m², which perfectly combines low weight, durability, breathability, and packability. On the outer side, the fabric is treated with a **durable water-repellent (DWR) coating** that will hold back light condensation or a few drops of water. The sleeping bag is filled with **850 grams of goose down with a fill power of 850 cuin**. The down to small feathers ratio is 95/5. The upper chambers are separated from the lower ones and are filled with slightly more down. The down is distributed here in a ratio of 55/45. ## Construction The chambers of the sleeping bag have a **V-shaped construction**. It is one of the most advanced types of chambers, minimizing the formation of so-called cold spots at the seam between the chambers. At the same time, it has a relatively low weight. In order for the down to achieve sufficient loft, the sleeping bag is **slightly wider than most three-season models**. The width of the sleeping bag at the shoulders is 85 cm and at the hips is 59 cm. Based on our experience, the basic size M is suitable for individuals with a maximum height of 190 cm. The foot box construction, named **Shark-fin**, prevents down compression, is comfortable, and provides better thermal performance than conventional constructions. ## Features For simple orientation, the tightening of the hood and collar is distinguished: the hood is tightened with a flat strap, and the collar with an elastic band. The sleeping bag has a **comfortable collar filled with down**, which will wrap around your neck from both sides and prevent heat loss through the hood. The sleeping bag features **two elongated baffles** on each side, designed to better distribute the down within the bag and enhance thermal comfort. Inside the sleeping bag, there is a **mesh pocket** for a mobile phone, earplugs, or other small items. The sleeping bag features a 175 cm long YKK zipper with an extended pull to prevent it from snagging on the fabric when closing. At the feet, you will find a second puller that is ideal for ventilation. Behind the zipper on the inside, there are **two down-filled insulating tube**, which minimize heat loss through the zipper itself. **Two Cumulus sleeping bags with opposite zippers (left + right) can be connected together.** ## Sleeping bag accessories **A simple travel storage sack is included with the sleeping bag.** The sleeping bag is packed in it into a cylindrical shape with a volume of 11,1 liters and dimensions of 32/21 cm (height/diameter).
