It has gained great popularity on long-distance trails in the USA, primarily due to its versatility, thoughtful construction, and low weight. The quilt is equipped with an insulated collar around the neck (Draft Collar), which minimizes heat loss. Popular ultralight three-season quilt with an insulated collar for long-distance trails. ## Materials The Revelation quilt is constructed from **10 denier nylon** (23 g/m²), which is pleasant to the touch and offers an ideal balance between durability, breathability, and low weight. The fabric is treated with a **durable water-repellent (DWR) coating** on the outer side, which protects the down of the sleeping bag from light condensation or a few drops of water. The quilt in size Regular/Regular is filled with **455 grams of duck down with a fill power of 850 cuin** ([US method](/blog/everything-you-need-to-know-about-down)) and its total weight is a beautiful **640 grams**! The down is ethically sourced and has certification [RDS](https://textileexchange.org/standards/responsible-down/). Enlightened Equipment specifies a limit temperature for its quilts, which corresponds to standard measurements EN 13537/ISO 23537. The comfort temperature is about 5°C above the limit temperature. [Video](https://youtu.be/QQm3HLUG4Vg) ## Construction EE relies on a unique **U-shaped chamber construction** in its quilts, which combines the best features of traditional horizontal and vertical chambers. Vertical chambers prevent down from shifting to the sides, which most often occurs when sleeping on your side. Horizontal chambers in the foot box maintain maximum loft and keep the down exactly where it's needed. Between the individual chambers, there are **vertical baffles** that significantly reduce heat loss at the junction of two chambers compared to simpler sewn through constructions. To save weight and improve packability, quilts are stripped of all unnecessary features. **On its back side from the waist up, inefficiently used down is removed**, which would be mostly compressed under your body and practically serve no purpose. To keep the opening on your back underneath you at all times, the quilt is attached to the sleeping pad using elastic straps. The quilt remains in a fixed position, and you can turn inside it. The quilt can be used with any type of sleeping pad (inflatable or foam). Additionally, the **quilt does not have a hood**; you can replace it with a hat or a hooded down jacket/sweatshirt. ## Features The Revelation quilt has a **50 cm long zipper at the bottom of the foot box**, which allows you to completely unzip the quilt and use it **as a blanket**. You will appreciate this especially on warmer nights. When fully unzipped, it has a Regular/Regular size trapezoidal shape measuring 192 cm in length, expanding from the bottom (101 cm) towards the top (137 cm). By zipping up and tightening the cords, you create a foot box for your feet. To prevent the zipper from slipping open by itself, there are snap buttons at both ends to secure the fabric. You will receive **one round strap and one flat strap with buckles** for the sleeping pad. The round strap is threaded around the sleeping pad, and the buckles on the strap are connected to the buckles on the quilt, ensuring that the quilt is secured to the sleeping pad and the opening on your back remains underneath you. The flat strap is used to attach to the top buckles of the quilt and to tighten the opening. At the top of the quilt (behind the neck), there are two pairs of plastic snaps and a drawstring with a toggle. The quilt has a **draft collar around the neck** – an additional chamber at the top edge of the quilt that wraps around the neck and minimizes heat loss, which you will appreciate especially in lower temperatures. [Video](https://youtu.be/mHznRpNJpxU) ## Accessories You will also receive a **large sack made of 100% organic cotton for home storage**, so the quilt is not unnecessarily compressed for a long time. A **simple travel storage sack** made of waterproof silnylon is included with the quilt. In this sack, the quilt has a cylindrical shape with a height of 30 cm and a diameter of 17 cm. However, by using a compression sack, you can reduce the volume of the quilt by an additional 40%. For 100% waterproofness and the possibility of compression, we recommend getting [STS compression bag eVENT Ultra-Sil](/p/sea-to-summit-evac-compression-dry-bag-ul) size S or a classic waterproof bag [Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack](/p/sea-to-summit-ultra-sil-dry-bag) about size 8 l. ## Specs - Color: Navy Blue, Burnt Orange, Forest - Sleeping bag size: Long Wide, Regular/Regular, Regular Wide - Chamber design: H-shaped chambers - Season: 3-season - Comfort temperature: 0 °C - Limit temperature: -6 °C - Down weight: 455 g - Fill power: 850 cuin - Down type: Duck - Hydrophobic down: No - Insulation type: Down - Material: 10D nylon with DWR - Packed dimensions: 30 × 17 cm - Unzipped width (bottom/top): 101 / 137 cm - Weight: 710 g - Woocommerce product id: 13356 - Brand: Enlightened Equipment ## Variants - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Regular wide, Burnt orange · SKU REV85020BCRWX · €494 · Out of stock · Burnt Orange, Regular Wide - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Long-wide, Forest · SKU REV85020FCLWX · €523.60 · Out of stock · Forest, Long Wide - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Long-wide, Burnt-orange · SKU REV85020BCLWX · €523.60 · Out of stock · Burnt Orange, Long Wide - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Regular-regular, Navy-blue · SKU REVDC85020NCRRX · EAN 810108075684 · €472.80 · Out of stock · Regular/Regular, Navy Blue - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Long-wide, Navy-blue · SKU REVDC85020NCLWX · EAN 810108075677 · €523.60 · Out of stock · Navy Blue, Long Wide - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Regular wide, Forest · SKU REV85020FCRWX · €494 · Out of stock · Regular Wide, Forest - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Regular-regular, Forest · SKU REVDC85020FCRRX · €460.20 · Out of stock · Regular/Regular, Forest - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Regular wide, Navy blue · SKU REVDC85020NCRWX · EAN 810108075691 · €506.70 · Out of stock · Navy Blue, Regular Wide - Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) - Draft Collar - Regular-regular, Burnt-orange · SKU REVDC85020BCRRX · EAN 810108075561 · €460.20 · Out of stock · Regular/Regular, Burnt Orange ## Related - [Patizon G 800](/p/patizon-g800.md) - [Sea To Summit Reactor Liner Mummy](/p/sea-to-summit-reactor-liner-mummy.md) - [Big Agnes Lost Ranger UL 3N1 0°](/p/big-agnes-lost-ranger-ul-3n1-0c.md) - [Sea To Summit Aeros Premium Pillow (2026)](/p/sea-to-summit-aeros-premium-pillow-2026.md) - [Patizon G 1100](/p/patizon-g1100.md) - [Sea To Summit Lightweight Dry Bag](/p/sea-to-summit-lightweight-dry-bag.md) - [Cumulus Teneqa 850](/p/cumulus-teneqa-850.md) - [Sea To Summit eVac Compression Dry Bag UL](/p/sea-to-summit-evac-compression-dry-bag-ul.md) ## Shipping and returns - [Shipping and payment](/shipping-payment) - [Returns](/return-order) ## Images - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/5938d239e4e5ddfb665e60d50157a8d7-01KWHVP3M8YN5XE9BVPGV5QJNS.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/a1af15d3de4ee781edb28a722fa14add-01KWHVP3NJZS8EJA5ARRC4XKA4.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/716fa67577034acb6cf6758f8fcf5a44-01KWHVP3NEDW6Y39GK4119AS0F.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/9d3ff06e663820ef3e1d315cf2a81d0d-01KWHVP3QM5Q4E36D0JKSDTHFR.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/c1a4a418dfe67fa073f34bfec392fd1d-01KWHVP3RKTRDC6HTX9C3RRV1W.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/558c8053a3a8b9cc060fe80967c3942c-01KWHVP3T35VGNHW7BTK670E6H.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/3adc9f7436cebd67f7f478005edcd2d9-01KWHVP4157TA1FR3ATP7JPGC2.jpg) - ![Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt 20°F (-6°C) – Draft Collar](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/9a65ef8058d54d095cbf7cf1971e5e19-01KWHVP43YHTKRJJ6AF9N4JPPC.jpg) ## Identifiers - SKU: REV85020BCRWX - Handle: enlightened-equipment-revelation-quilt-20f-6c - Brand: Enlightened Equipment This product is also available as [HTML](/p/enlightened-equipment-revelation-quilt-20f-6c).
