Aluminum trekking poles proven over many kilometers. made of AL 7001 aluminum alloy, EVA foam grip with removable strap, carbide tip, weight per pole 163 g without strap / 172 g with strap, Flexy locking system (twist lock), adjustable length up to 132 cm, collapsed length 59,5 cm, shaft diameters 17/16/14 mm, package includes a 50 mm basket, protective rubber tip caps, and a small carabiner Part of Vagabund Banán's gear. ## Description These poles are billed as the lightest aluminum poles in the world. **They adjust with a twist-lock system** called Flexy locking, up to a length of 132 cm. The grip is made of comfortable EVA foam with an adjustable strap that can be removed. At the end of the pole is a durable carbide tip. The manufacturer lists the weight of one pole at **158 grams**, but we measured **163 grams without the strap** and 172 grams with the strap. Collapsed, the pole measures **59,5** **cm.** We gave these trekking poles a real workout on our south-to-north crossing of Iceland, where they came in handy for fording rivers, keeping a steady pace, climbing and descending on loose terrain, and reinforcing our tent's structure in strong winds. **Fizan Compact poles are simple, lightweight, and above all reliable**.
