Thousands of kilometers tested aluminum trekking poles with a scarf included in the package. ## Description The poles are advertised as **the lightest aluminum trekking poles in the world**. They are adjustable up to a length of 132 cm using the screw lock **Flexy locking system**. The handle is made of comfortable EVA foam with an adjustable strap that can be removed. At the end of the pole is a durable carbide tip. The manufacturer lists the weight of a single pole as **158 grams**, but we measured **163 grams without the strap** and 172 grams with the strap. The folded length of the pole is **59,5 cm**. We put these trekking poles to the test during a south-to-north hike across Iceland, where they proved invaluable for river crossings, maintaining pace, ascending and descending on loose terrain, and reinforcing tent structures in strong winds. **Fizan Compact poles are simple, lightweight, and above all, reliable**.
