Water-repellent treatment for membrane clothing to restore water repellency. ## Impregnation for outdoor equipment **Revivex Durable Water Repellent** is a fluorocarbon-based spray treatment that ensures water repellency of the outer surface of membrane clothing while maintaining the breathability of the membrane. Even modern hi-tech fabrics lose their waterproof properties over time. An example is **DWR (durable water-repellent) treatment**, which wears off over time, making the fabric more prone to dirt and water absorption. With Revivex Durable Water Repellent, you can easily **restore the water-repellent properties** of your fabrics. - **Durable** – the impregnation restores the DWR water-repellent treatment; after treatment, the garment will resist abrasion, repel water, and oil. - **Maximizes breathability** - creates a waterproof layer and allows waterproof breathable garments to perform at their best. - **Washable** – ideal for outerwear and ski gear, this DWR coating will remain after washing and can be air dried or heat treated. - **Compatible** – designed for use on technical fabrics including eVent®, NeoShell®, and GORE-TEX® materials; the composition does not contain PFOA and PFOS. - **Multipurpose** – for restoring water repellency in membrane clothing, ski pants, gloves, shoes, waders, and other equipment, e.g., with DWR treatment. Do not ingest. Protect your eyes.** ## **Usage** After washing the GORE-TEX garment, spray the REVIVEX treatment onto the wet, un-dried garment hanging on a hanger. Then dry the garment on an appropriate setting in a tumble dryer. The higher temperature during drying in the dryer stabilizes the treatment, and the protection will last for another 2-3 washes of the garment. For those who do not have a dryer at home, there is an alternative method for stabilizing the impregnation by ironing the surface through a protective layer at low temperature. The advantage of REVIVEX impregnation is that it is an absolutely non-toxic water-based product that does not clog the membrane and maintains its optimal breathability. Additionally, after temperature stabilization, it withstands multiple washes, which minimizes the costs of impregnation and simplifies the maintenance of membrane products. ## Specs - Color: Black / White - Volume: 0.5 l - Weight: 500 g - Woocommerce product id: 60978 - Brand: Gear Aid ## Related - [Nikwax Down Wash Direct 1 L](/p/nikwax-down-wash-direct-1-l.md) - [DD Hammocks SuperLight Pegs 6 pcs](/p/dd-hammocks-superlight-pegs-6pcs.md) - [Atsko Sport Wash 1000 ml](/p/atsko-sport-wash-1000-ml.md) - [Sea To Summit Ground Control Light Tent Pegs (6 pcs)](/p/sea-to-summit-ground-control-light-tent-pegs-6pcs.md) - [Liteway Simplex Max Tarp](/p/liteway-simplex-max-tarp.md) - [Sea To Summit Utensil & Peg Bag](/p/sea-to-summit-utensil-peg-bag.md) - [Warmpeace Shelter Tarp](/p/warmpeace-shelter-tarp.md) - [TOAKS Titanium V-shaped Peg](/p/toaks-titanium-v-shaped-peg.md) ## Shipping and returns - [Shipping and payment](/shipping-payment) - [Returns](/return-order) ## Images - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/5847e40c1ed19605886dd31148e65eae-01KWHVJ16KVAJZ9ZGGCF111BDT.jpg) - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/Gear_Aid_Revivex_Durable_Water_Repellent_Spray_500_ml_01_c6d3d8f846-01KWHVJ19T5SA5XFDN0Z5FTT89.webp) - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/Gear_Aid_Revivex_Durable_Water_Repellent_Spray_500_ml_02_aebd0fa2da-01KWHVJ1E4SVS9E988YWKCCT7F.webp) - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/7607551bae6e472ce8f13f1328ad918f-01KWHVJ1GA7NYRW4HM6JYG65P9.jpg) - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/ff4bebbaa5492c147fc227153a20104b-01KWHVJ1HQ8G2EFXY1KKP86NTH.jpg) - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/46b1b0cefed6a14a666768fbbd335c0c-01KWHVJ1QXAE37TMDMSVGBYCWM.jpg) - ![Gear Aid Revivex Durable Water Repellent Spray 500 ml](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/Gear_Aid_Revivex_Durable_Water_Repellent_Spray_500_ml_03_b196a43650-01KWHVJ1FT61H96BDC9FZEEDCF.webp) ## Identifiers - SKU: 36225 - EAN: 021563362251 - Handle: gear-aid-revivex-durable-water-repellent-spray-500-ml - Brand: Gear Aid This product is also available as [HTML](/p/gear-aid-revivex-durable-water-repellent-spray-500-ml).
