The support is particularly suitable if the total weight of the backpack exceeds 15 kg. Additional reinforcement of the backpack for heavier loads. ## Reinforcement for the Crown3 backpack [Crown3 60](/p/granite-gear-crown3-60) and [Crown3 60 Women’s](/p/granite-gear-crown3-60-womens) are popular ultralight backpacks for backpacking and long-distance trails. Their back system is primarily made up of a **removable durable frame**. This polypropylene frame provides standard comfort when carrying the backpack; it prevents items from pressing into your back, but because the frame is flexible, the backpack does not have complete torsional stiffness, which may not be pleasant when heavily loaded. **To enhance the comfort of carrying a backpack with a heavier load**, we recommend upgrading the back system with an **aluminum frame**, which **is not included with the backpack** but can be purchased **separately**. The higher durability of the back panel will be particularly appreciated by those who (so far) do not favor ultralight backpacking and whose gear weighs a little bit more. According to the manufacturer, **Crown3 backpacks are designed for 15-16 kilograms**. The benefit of the aluminum frame is an **increase in the load capacity of the backpack by 3,6 kg**. ## Specifications The additional aluminum frame reinforcement is compatible with the [Granite Gear Crown3](/p/granite-gear-crown3-60) backpack. The reinforcement is inserted into the plastic frame of the backpack. It is made in 3 sizes according to the size of your backpack. **Weight**: Small torso – 65 g, Regular torso – 75 g, Long torso – 85 g ## Specs - Color: Silver - Backpack size: Long, Regular, Short - Material composition: Aluminium - Weight: 65 g - Woocommerce product id: 69907 - Brand: Granite Gear ## Variants - Hliníková výztuha pro batohy Granite Gear Crown3 - Long · SKU 50053-0000 · EAN 782922246147 · €16.50 · Out of stock · Long, Silver - Hliníková výztuha pro batohy Granite Gear Crown3 - Regular · SKU 50052-0000 · EAN 782922246130 · €16.50 · Out of stock · Regular, Silver - Hliníková výztuha pro batohy Granite Gear Crown3 - Short · SKU 50051-0000 · EAN 782922246123 · €16.50 · Out of stock · Short, Silver ## Related - [Granite Gear Crown3 60](/p/granite-gear-crown3-60.md) - [Sea To Summit Accessory Carabiner Set 3 pcs](/p/sea-to-summit-accessory-carabiner-set-3pcs.md) - [Granite Gear Crown3 60 Women's](/p/granite-gear-crown3-60-womens.md) - [Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Bag](/p/sea-to-summit-ultra-sil-dry-bag.md) - [Hyperlite Mountain Gear Versa](/p/hyperlite-mountain-gear-versa.md) - [Sea To Summit eVac Compression Dry Bag UL](/p/sea-to-summit-evac-compression-dry-bag-ul.md) - [Hyperlite Mountain Gear Camera Pod](/p/hyperlite-mountain-gear-camera-pod.md) - [Sea To Summit 1,8 mm Reflective Cord 10 m](/p/sea-to-summit-reflective-accessory-cord-1-8-mm-10m.md) ## Shipping and returns - [Shipping and payment](/shipping-payment) - [Returns](/return-order) ## Images - ![Aluminum Stay Add-On for Granite Gear Crown3 Packs](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/9195e777df90a97f3d7c6d20f1eccabc-01KWHVMBY1DNKEYZR895RKDVFQ.jpg) - ![Aluminum Stay Add-On for Granite Gear Crown3 Packs](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/2132b654385c41741cd0a49c15238733-01KWHVMBYYRJ2623BGDSK4GQNP.jpeg) ## Identifiers - SKU: 50053-0000 - EAN: 782922246147 - Handle: granite-gear-crown-3-aluminium-stay-add-on - Brand: Granite Gear This product is also available as [HTML](/p/granite-gear-crown-3-aluminium-stay-add-on).
