## Description

Pemi 15 is a hybrid running vest for fastpacking from Hyperlite Mountain Gear. ALUULA 97 fabric and heat-welded – not sewn – seams give it higher waterproofness and abrasion resistance than a classic construction. With a 15-liter capacity, you'll fit extra layers, food, and basic gear for long mountain runs, and the multiple pockets keep everything you need within easy reach.

## Who is this vest for?

An incredibly light, perfectly fitting running vest for fastpacking fans.

ALUULA 97 fabric with heat-welded seams, a snug fit that eliminates bounce, 15-liter capacity, a reservoir pocket outside the main compartment, two bottle pockets, two front pockets, two zip pockets, a YKK #5 side zipper, a roll-top closure with vertical compression straps, and loops for trekking poles and an ice axe.

## Pemi 15 Running Vest

**Pemi 15** from the popular American brand [Hyperlite Mountain Gear](/b/hyperlite-mountain-gear) is a hybrid, low-volume **running vest** **for fastpacking**.

It offers an optimal balance of weight and durability with a major step up in waterproofness – thanks to ALUULA 97 fabric and **heat-welding technology** (thermo-welding), where the seams are joined with heat instead of stitching. The vest **holds its shape better and keeps your gear dry** even on long routes.

The vest is designed to **fit snugly against your body**, eliminating annoying pack bounce. With a **15-liter** capacity, it gives you enough room for extra layers and overnight gear in the field.

Ideal for demanding **fastpacking** – whether you're tackling an ultramarathon with long stretches between water sources, crossing technical terrain with an ice axe, or simply want quick access to your gear and **a vest that won't slow you down while running**.

## Features

**Materials** – the main fabric is ALUULA 97, a composite laminate with a UHMWPE fiber core. The panels are heat-bonded, not sewn, so the vest holds its shape better and resists water and abrasion even after extended use.

**Straps and carry system** – the vest sits firmly against your body along the entire length of your back, so the pack doesn't bounce while running and your center of gravity stays close to your spine. Breathable mesh keeps you dry even at your highest pace.

**Back panel** – a welded foam panel follows the shape of your back and provides support even when the vest is fully loaded.

**Hydration system** – the reservoir pocket sits outside the main compartment, so the rest of your gear stays dry even if the reservoir leaks. Route the hose across the vest however you need.

**External storage** – the straps carry two bottle pockets, two front pockets, two zip pockets, and two more on the sides, plus an adjustable chest strap.

**Front pocket –** made from durable stretch mesh, ideal for stashing wet layers. Low-profile loops along its length give you room to clip on extra gear.

**Side zipper** – A YKK #5 zipper with two pulls gives you quick access to the main compartment even while running.

**Top closure** – a roll-top system with vertical compression straps shrinks the volume depending on how much you're carrying. Your load stays compact and protected from rain.

**Top compression strap** – a removable strap you can use for extra compression or to clip on additional gear.

**Side straps** – two removable hooks on the bottom of the pack hold trekking poles, while vertical compression straps keep an ice axe in place.
