Most users appreciate its fast flow rate, easy water collection using the wide-mouth bottle, excellent packability, and low weight. Simply fill the bottle with water, and you can drink directly or filter it into another container. The filter features an **EZ-Clean Membrane™**. It works on the principle of hollow fiber membranes, which trap anything larger than 0,1 microns (0,00001 mm). Cleaning the filter is simple – just remove it from the bottle and rinse it in clean water. The filter increases the safety of water from natural sources. It meets EPA standards and **removes 99,9999% of bacteria and 99,9% of protozoa** (including Giardia, Cryptosporidium, etc.). **The filter's stated lifespan is 1000 liters.** While this may seem low compared to competing filters, it is sufficient for several years of use in the field.
