This ultralight pyramid-style tarp is set up on 2 connected trekking pole and is suitable for people up to 185 cm tall. For protection against insects, it is recommended to pair the tarp with either the Pyraomm Plus Half Mesh or the Pyraomm Plus Full Mesh inner tent. ## Pyraomm Plus Tarp **Pyramid-shaped tents** are known for their **exceptional wind resistance**. When properly anchored with stakes and secured with a trekking pole, the tent remains stable and highly resistant to strong winds. The **steep walls** also provide excellent **rain protection**, as water easily runs off without pooling. Pyramid tents are valued for their **ultralight weight** and **simple setup**. We recommend this tent for individuals **up to 185 cm tall**. It will also be appreciated by those who require more interior space and a greater inner height. For shorter individuals or those who count every gram, we suggest considering the [Pyraomm Duo Tarp](/p/liteway-pyraomm-duo-tarp). On the contrary, [Pyraomm Max Tarp](/p/liteway-pyraomm-max-tarp-grey) is more suitable for group of 3 or 4 members. The Liteway Pyraomm Plus Tarp is **extremely easy to pitch**. Simply anchor the four corners and connect 2 trekking poles together using a tension strap (not included) at a height of about 160 cm, and support the top in the center of the tent. After that, you can adjust and tension the guy lines as needed. Alternatively, you can set up the tent on trekking poles with [A-frame adapter](/p/liteway-a-frame-connector), which eliminates the need for a trekking pole in the center of the tent. **Warning, the seams are** **not taped**! Since the tent is made from siliconized polyester, it cannot be sealed with standard polyurethane seam tape used in most tents (it won’t adhere to a silicone-treated surface). Instead, you must seal the seams manually before use. This can be done using [Gear Aid Seam Grip +Sil 28g](/p/gear-aid-seam-grip-sil-28-g) or by creating a DIY seam sealant using sanitary silicone mixed with white spirit (in a ratio of approximately 1:2, with a consistency similar to oil). [Tent stakes](/c/sleep/stakes-and-guy-lines) are not included in the package. You will need at least 4 stakes for setup, but it is better to be equipped with at least 8 stakes. A strap is ideal for connecting trekking poles ([STS Stretch-Loc TPU Straps (2 pcs) - 12 mm x 300 mm](/p/sea-to-summit-stretch-loc-tpu-straps-2pcs)). For maximum protection from insects and adverse weather, we recommend adding an inner mosquito (mesh) net [Pyraomm Plus Half Mesh](/p/liteway-pyraomm-plus-half-mesh) (for one person) or [Pyraomm Plus Full Mesh](/p/liteway-pyraomm-plus-full-mesh) (for two people). You will create a fully functional double-wall tent with a remarkably low weight. ## Features The tent has **2 entrances equipped with YKK Aquagard waterproof zippers**, so both sleepers have their own access and do not have to awkwardly climb over and disturb each other. At the top, there are **2 vents to minimize condensation** inside the tent. The vents are covered with mesh to keep insects out. At the bottom edge in the center and at the corners, there are **Linelocs** (plastic components for loosening and tightening guy lines). To adjust the inner height or improve stability in the wind, there are **anchoring points on all sides** at the lower edge and in the area. The **peak of the tent is reinforced** on the inside with durable X-Pac material to prevent damage from trekking poles. The zippers on both entrances are equipped with a cross-strap at the bottom, which helps **reduce tension on the zipper** when the tent is fully pitched. If you want to keep the tent slightly open for better air ventilation, **you can roll up a part of the rainfly** and secure it with a loop and toggle.
