This jacket offers extreme comfort and is an ideal choice for all physical activities in cooler weather, when you will most appreciate its ability to insulate body heat while also wicking away sweat. Men's warm and breathable fleece sweatshirt without a hood, featuring brushed fabric and a grid structure. ## Protium XT Jacket Protium XT Jacket is a warmer and hoodless version of the very popular [Protium Hoodie](/p/montane-mens-protium-hoodie) from the Montane brand. Unlike this hoodie, the Protium XT Jacket features a **lower collar** and is **without a hood**, saving a few grams in weight. It is an extremely comfortable mid-layer **for all active movement in the mountains in cooler conditions**. However, it can also be used as an outer insulating layer in spring or autumn. This hoodie is also available in a version with a hood – [Protium XT Hoodie](/p/montane-mens-protium-xt-hoodie). The quick-drying material **Thermo Grid HL** is characterized by a highly breathable **brushed fiber with a double grid structure** on the inside. At the same weight of the fabric, the Thermo Grid HL material is **28% warmer** than the Thermo Grid material used in the Protium Hoodie. You'll love the Protium XT Jacket not only for its **pleasant touch** material but also for its **lightweight**, **excellent insulating properties**, **great moisture management**, and **breathability**. We also love the **thoughtful fit** of this jacket. It moves with you and doesn't restrict you at all. The jacket features **two practical and spacious side zip pockets** that can be accessed even while wearing a hip belt of a backpack or a climbing harness. The higher percentage of elastane ensures that the hoodie is pleasantly stretchy. The jacket has a **fitted cut for active movement** in the mountains, so if you have a more athletic muscular build, it might be better to choose a larger size. ## Specifications - **Weight**: 385 g (size M) - **Material**: Thermo Grid HL (91% polyester, 9% elastane) - **Back** **length**: 71 cm (size M) - **Hanging loop** on the back side - **Flat locked seams** for comfort and greater durability - **Technical construction** prevents the bottom edge of the hoodie from riding up during movement - **Lower-fitting collar** without a hood - The top of the front zipper is **covered with fabric** - High-quality **YKK VISLON zipper** with internal protective flap - **Zipper pulls with easy-grip tabs** for easy operation, even when wearing gloves - **Low elastic cuff** at the end of the sleeves ### Thermo Grid HL material From the inside, breathable brushed fiber with a double mesh structure, and from the outside, a smooth and durable surface. ### **Two side pockets** The pockets on the sides are positioned higher, have a long zipper, and are really spacious. ### YKK zipper YKK VISLON® full-length front zipper with internal protective flap and pulls. ### Lower-fitting collar Comfortable fitted collar shape without a hood. ## Specs - Color: Oak Green, Eclipse Blue - Clothing size: L, M, XL, S - Sleeve length: Long sleeve - Material: Thermo Grid HL (252 g/m², 91 % polyester, 9 % elastane) - Weight: 385 g - Woocommerce product id: 95787 - Brand: Montane ## Variants - Montane Protium XT Jacket - Large, Oak-green · SKU MPRXJOAKN14 · EAN 5056237091064 · €101 · Out of stock · Oak Green, L - Montane Protium XT Jacket - Medium, Oak-green · SKU MPRXJOAKM14 · EAN 5056237091057 · €101 · Out of stock · Oak Green, M - Montane Protium XT Jacket - Medium, Eclipse-blue · SKU MPRXJECLM14 · EAN 5056237091002 · €105.20 · In stock · M, Eclipse Blue - Montane Protium XT Jacket - Xlarge, Eclipse-blue · SKU MPRXJECLX14 · EAN 5056237091026 · €105.20 · Out of stock · Eclipse Blue, XL - Montane Protium XT Jacket - Large, Eclipse-blue · SKU MPRXJECLN14 · EAN 5056237091019 · €105.20 · Out of stock · L, Eclipse Blue - Montane Protium XT Jacket - Small, Eclipse-blue · SKU MPRXJECLB14 · EAN 5056237090999 · €105.20 · Out of stock · Eclipse Blue, S ## Related - [Montane Protium XT Hoodie](/p/montane-mens-protium-xt-hoodie.md) - [Warmpeace Rond](/p/warmpeace-rond.md) - [Liteway Rain Skirt](/p/liteway-rain-skirt.md) - [Montane Anti-Freeze XT Hoodie (2025)](/p/montane-mens-anti-freeze-xt-hoodie-2025.md) - [Montane Phase Lite Jacket](/p/montane-mens-phase-lite-jacket.md) - [Montane Protium Beanie](/p/montane-protium-beanie.md) - [Montane Phase Nano Jacket](/p/montane-mens-phase-nano-jacket.md) - [Montane Protium Glove](/p/montane-protium-glove.md) ## Shipping and returns - [Shipping and payment](/shipping-payment) - [Returns](/return-order) ## Images - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/03433d8709ba3c2498451f26c3875b0d-01KWHVM97TDHP8R37YZBMXB7GK.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/a275620a0f08e995ec9e3149185cf8d5-01KWHVM98T03XFVGF6FXEYFC9M.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/bcff752725edc561eb4c253d66526158-01KWHVM99AMKJ836BVM70EZK8Q.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/db8c8f5dd82c978eb36778fc53580eb0-01KWHVM9D8H8TB60JDM94V00ZB.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/f7416014edec98fae152045509a24aa9-01KWHVM9DS4G2PA9XRH5SZQD8N.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/99da0303166e4350c50a5c52ccecd8f3-01KWHVM9F8SE56W0NMZJ06FZW4.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/e419516cac7f1afdad378d564f431086-01KWHVM9EJ68PHR959YNWEH3F9.jpg) - ![Montane Protium XT Jacket](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/28ee478ee615c353d45eb0fd7ab80248-01KWHVM9GZ988ERH65PM7891CX.jpg) ## Identifiers - SKU: MPRXJECLM14 - EAN: 5056237091002 - Handle: montane-mens-protium-xt-jacket - Brand: Montane This product is also available as [HTML](/p/montane-mens-protium-xt-jacket).
