Ideal for use throughout all seasons – either as an outer insulating layer in warmer weather, or as a mid layer in winter.

## Women’s Protium Hoodie

A favorite piece from the [Montane](/b/montane) brand, this time in a women's version! The Women’s Protium Hoodie has exactly the **ideal weight of material (thickness) for use most of the year**, making it an incredibly versatile companion not only in the mountains but also in the city.

The hoodie is made from the **Thermo Grid material**, which features **brushed fibers with a grid structure** on the inside. We have become incredibly fond of this material construction and consider it almost as a necessity for every hoodie for outdoor activities. The main reasons are: **lower weight, comfort, good insulation properties, excellent moisture wicking, and breathability**.

The hoodie has **two side pockets** that are really spacious, and the zipper is quite long – you can access them even with the hip belt of the backpack fastened or while wearing a climbing harness. The hoodie has a **full-length zipper** made of 100% recycled material with an inner protective flap.

What further excites us about this hoodie is its **thoughtful fit**. It moves with you and doesn't restrict you at all. The hood fits perfectly, and thanks to the higher collar, it prevents the wind from blowing on your neck. A higher proportion of elastane ensures that the hoodie is pleasantly stretchy.
