## Description

Easy-to-use, ultralight, and compact water travel filter. The Platypus QuickDraw Microfilter stands out among other water filters primarily for its fast flow rate. It weighs only 69 g and takes up minimal space.

Truly well-designed, high-performance water filter for long treks and travel.

## Specifications

The QuickDraw microfiber water filter is a new product for 2021 from the brand Platypus. The filter can be **easily attached to standard PET water bottles** or Platypus collapsible bottles. It filters water at a speed of **up to 3 liters per minute**.

To clean it, you **simply shake the hollow fiber filter or perform backflushing** without the need for any additional tools. The cleverly designed filter body and closures on both ends ensure that **no water leaks from the filter** into your backpack during transport.

Each filter is individually tested to ensure it meets all EPA and NSF guidelines for the removal of **99,9999% of bacteria and 99,9% of protozoa** (this includes Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Salmonella, and cholera).

**The filter's stated lifespan is 1000 liters.** While this may seem low compared to competing filters, it is sufficient for several years of use in the field. To put it into perspective, try calculating how much water you actually filter during one hiking season.

A detailed product manual in Czech can be found [here](https://gramino.cz/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Platypus-QuickDraw-filtr-navod.pdf).

## Features

- **Ultralight and compact**: the filter weighs only 67 grams and fits into hip belt pocket of a backpack.
- **Build your own system**: simply attach the filter to Platypus bottles and hydration bladders (Hoser, Platy SoftBottle, and standard 28 mm PET bottles).
- **Ultra-fast flow rate**: the hollow fiber filter purifies up to 3 liters of water per minute under normal pressure.
- **Easy and efficient cleaning**: clean the filter simply by shaking it or performing a backflush.
- **Thoughtful and durable design**: dual-end caps prevent water leakage during transport, and the rubberized filter body ensures a non-slip grip, even when wet.
- **Benefit of hollow fibers**: Hundreds of tiny hollow fibers allow for faster water filtration compared to traditional filtration solutions.
