With a weight of just 17 grams, you no longer have to debate whether to bring it or leave it at home. The Deuce UL Trowel is a must-have for every ultralight enthusiast who follows Leave No Trace principles. Refined successor to the legendary toilet trowel that no hiker's gear should be without. ## Improved version of hikers' favorite trowel We won’t revisit the basics. Why a trowel is an essential piece of gear for every hiker and how to use it has already been covered [here](/p/thetentlab-dirtsaw-deuce-2-ul-trowel) or [here](/blog/leave-no-trace). Anyone who has followed the evolution of trowels by TheTentLab since their inception in 2014 knows how much time and effort has gone into perfecting the art of digging holes with the Deuce of Spades™ trowels. For 2023, they introduced a game-changing innovation: **The DirtSaw™**. This trowel completely redefines how a small handheld tool can be used to dig holes in the ground. With the DirtSaw™, you’ll be able to practice various innovative techniques, from using it upside down or sideways to half-sideways or right-side up. It’s a versatile tool that allows digging, poking, cutting, twisting, chopping, slicing, scooping, and more, making your digging tasks easier and more efficient than ever before. You’ll notice the handle intentionally lacks grips—TheTentLab believes in preserving the adaptability of the tool, enabling you to easily explore different digging modes. ## Thoughtful and innovative details **Radiused trowel curvature** – The radiused curvature increases the trowel’s strength by 65%, making it more resistant to bending. It also turns the trowel into a design piece that’s sure to catch attention on the trail. **Rounded bottom edge** – Improves soil removal from deeper holes and reinforces the tip when testing the suitability of a chosen spot. **Recessed teeth** – Easily grab and cut through roots while remaining safely recessed to protect your hands. If needed, the teeth can be sharpened with a nail file and stay sharp for a long time. **DirtSaw® saw blade** – The standout revolution for this model is the saw blade integrated along both sides of the trowel. The serrated edges literally "bite" into the soil, with teeth specifically designed for dirt—broad and smooth—breaking through the ground without snagging on roots. The teeth are safe to handle and work best when naturally rounded with use, saving you up to one-third of your time overall. ## Specs - Color: Blue, Red, Lime, Green, Golden, Purple - Material: Aluminum 7075-T6 - Dimension: 17.3 × 6.4 cm - Weight: 17 g - Woocommerce product id: 94639 - Brand: TheTentLab ## Variants - TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce 2 UL Trowel - Zelená · SKU DS2–GR–419 · EAN 850026564419 · €21.60 · Out of stock · Green - TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce 2 UL Trowel - Fialová · SKU DS2-P-259 · €22.40 · Out of stock · Purple - TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce 2 UL Trowel - Limetková · SKU DS2-L-440 · EAN 850026564440 · €21.60 · Out of stock · Lime - TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce 2 UL Trowel - Červená · SKU DS2–F–402 · EAN 850026564402 · €21.60 · In stock · Red - TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce 2 UL Trowel - Zlatá · SKU DS2-GO-433 · EAN 850026564433 · €21.60 · In stock · Golden - TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce 2 UL Trowel - Modrá · SKU DS2–S–426 · EAN 850026564426 · €21.60 · In stock · Blue ## Related - [TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #3 UL Trowel](/p/thetentlab-dirtsaw-deuce-3-ul-trowel.md) - [Sea To Summit Wilderness Wash 100 ml](/p/sea-to-summit-wilderness-wash-100-ml.md) - [Hyberg ZIP Bag](/p/hyberg-zip-bag.md) - [Culo Clean](/p/culo-clean-bidet.md) - [Sea To Summit Pocket Shower](/p/sea-to-summit-pocket-shower.md) - [Sea To Summit 1,8 mm Reflective Cord 10 m](/p/sea-to-summit-reflective-accessory-cord-1-8-mm-10m.md) - [Kula Cloth](/p/kula-cloth-pee-cloth.md) - [Sea To Summit Accessory Carabiner Set 3 pcs](/p/sea-to-summit-accessory-carabiner-set-3pcs.md) ## Shipping and returns - [Shipping and payment](/shipping-payment) - [Returns](/return-order) ## Images - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/250025-00232-sky-3-01KWHVJJZ2FEZRSCSGKP3ZJ56A.jpg) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/The_Tent_Lab_Dirt_Saw_Deuce_2_UL_Trowel_Fire_0be466a7d7-01KWHVJK1XNXPYZB79MJACWBEM.webp) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/The_Tent_Lab_Dirt_Saw_Deuce_2_UL_Trowel_Purple_b4b1b534ed-01KWHVJK4Y40ADVV6K0G3G4HAF.webp) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/b3af92141731077f80eed057df215c7e-01KWHVJK4PASQMK907N585KPD5.jpg) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/00ea9e6456512fd0ec4520e2538c8d6c-01KWHVJK4K8FHYCQMJFTGGMVJY.jpg) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/9528f5c2cc51711a922f3335786fd70c-01KWHVJK6STDYHA15B3V9JRR6D.jpg) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/53761546943fbbd1c4de116ed1d9c5d3-01KWHVJK7Q8540PCGZTXRDVRA1.jpg) - ![TheTentLab DirtSaw Deuce #2 UL Trowel](https://media.gramino.com/medusa/The_Tent_Lab_Dirt_Saw_Deuce_2_UL_Trowel_Sky_1d0bcc571f-01KWHVJKA554APDR6F6S7GQD8S.webp) ## Identifiers - SKU: DS2–F–402 - EAN: 850026564402 - Handle: thetentlab-dirtsaw-deuce-2-ul-trowel - Brand: TheTentLab This product is also available as [HTML](/p/thetentlab-dirtsaw-deuce-2-ul-trowel).
