Jetboil
In the last 20 years, Jetboil has become synonymous with ultra-fast and compact cooking systems for the road. Whether you need to quickly boil water for dehydrated meals, whip up dinner for a group, or tackle peaks in challenging conditions, you'll find the perfect buddy in Jetboil's lineup that will take care of your stomach.
American brand Jetboil is mainly known for its unique and revolutionary portable stoves with an incredibly wide range of uses, like hiking, camping, climbing, and other outdoor activities. Jetboil offers stoves in a category ranging from ultralight to complex camping cooking systems. Jetboil stoves are just rockets that, once lit, run at full power and quickly boil water for tea, coffee, or rehydrating dehydrated meals.
How Jetboil cooking systems work
The unique Jetboil cooking system includes a thoughtfully designed cooking pot, an integrated heat exchanger, and a windproof design for quick cooking with minimal fuel consumption. This efficiency means you can quickly cook and prepare meals in various weather and terrain conditions, which is desirable and crucial, for example, when summiting multi-thousand-meter peaks or on really long treks where every gram of fuel and every minute counts. The plastic insulating cover of the heat exchanger allows you to safely handle the pot immediately after removing it from the burner.
Combination of innovative technology and compact design
Jetboil was founded in 2001 by Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst in New Hampshire, USA, with the aim of creating a cooking system that’s quick, efficient, and easy to carry. They were pretty disappointed and frustrated with heavy and clunky gas stoves and bottles during their outdoor adventures. So, they came up with an unprecedented cooking system that totally changed outdoor cooking in nature. The FluxRing® technology introduced by Jetboil combines an integrated heat exchanger for highly efficient heat transfer and an innovative, super compact design. They’ve won a bunch of awards for their products, so it’s no surprise that Jetboil cooking systems are among the most popular camping stoves in the world. Even climber, traveler, and documentary filmmaker Mára Holeček has become a Czech ambassador for the brand.
Jetboil and Gramino
Jetboil stoves are absolutely unmatched in cooking speed and minimal gas consumption. On their flagship cooking system Jetboil Flash you can boil half a liter of water in about 1,5 minutes. Jetboil stoves are perfect mainly for quickly boiling water, which you can then use to make tea, instant coffee (we recommend, for example, Drip It or The Brew Company) or pre-prepared dehydrated meals for trips.
In our offer, you'll also find the lightest cooking system from Jetboil – Stash Stove Kit, that weighs just 200 grams (including both the stove and the 0,8 l pot). Other cooking systems are a bit heavier, but they come with a bunch of cool features, like a power and flame regulator (Minimo, Micromo and Sumo).
