The 3F UL Gear Lanshan 1 tent, with its simple yet thoughtful design, is among the popular ultralight models in its price range. It features a fully-fledged double-wall design that offers excellent ventilation and stability even in worse weather. The vent above the entrance and the inner tent made of fine mesh ensure good air circulation and minimize condensation, while the vestibule provides ample space for cooking or storing gear. You can set up the tent using one trekking pole, and both the inner tent and rainfly can be pitched separately.

The latest version of the tent for 2026 brings several improvements. The classic zipper with a storm flap has been replaced with a waterproof zipper, plastic hooks have been swapped for metal ones, and a stronger material, 20D UHMWPE Grid Nylon, has been used in the most stressed area by the vent. Thanks to these changes, the tent is more resistant to bad weather and wear and tear.

Materials and Construction
The tent's rainfly is made from 15D nylon (weight 40 g/m², water column 5 000 mm), which keeps it lightweight while offering good tensile strength. The material also has high resistance to tearing and UV radiation. The waterproofing of the tent is ensured by a combination of silicone and PU coating, without the use of PFOS, FPOA, DWR, fluorinated substances, toxic metals, and aldehydes.
The inner tent is made of fine 15D nylon mesh, which ensures effective air circulation and minimizes condensation while providing good insect protection. The footprint is made of durable 20D nylon with a PU coating and a water column of 6 000 mm. The raised edges of the footprint (so-called tub shape) protect against flowing water and moisture from the ground.
In exposed areas, they used reinforced 20D UHMWPE Grid Nylon, which combines low weight with extraordinary strength and resistance to mechanical wear. All seams are taped. The YKK zippers and metal Duraflex buckles guarantee long durability even with frequent use.
The tent construction isn’t freestanding because it’s set up with one trekking pole at a height of 120–125 cm. You can also hang the top from a sturdy branch or another structure. The shape of the tent handles the wind well, while the eight anchor points and three tie-out points boost stability and let you properly tension the rainfly.

Tent construction
Step 1: Stake down the four corner stakes (A, B, C, D) to form an exact rectangle. Align the corner guy lines in a straight line with the ridge seams of the tent to make the structure more stable.
Step 2: Hammer in stake F about 1,2 m away from the inner tent. Use a trekking pole that’s 120–125 cm long to create the support structure. Tauten the vestibule by attaching the guy line to stake F.
Step 3: Pull point E outwards and secure it with a stake. Tension the lines from anchor points G1, G2, and G3, and secure them with stakes.
