Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL2 Bikepack Solution Dye
The Tiger Wall UL2 Bikepack tent is the lightest bikepacking tent for two people with two entrances and vestibules. It builds on the foundations of the popular tentBig Agnes Tiger Wall UL2 Solution Dye and is complemented by a number of features that you will definitely appreciate for bikepacking.

Features
The tent is designed for two people and has two entrances and two vestibules. Both sleepers have their own entrance and sufficient space for gear. The rainfly is equipped with two zipper sliders and a storm flap with Velcro. Setting it up during the day or night is made easier with reflective guy lines and color-coded elements of the tent.
At Big Agnes, they came up with their own alternative method for dyeing tent fabrics – Solution Dye, which is much more environmentally friendly (see below).
The tent construction is easier thanks to the clever TipLok Tent Buckle™ in the corners of the tent, which has three functions: securing the pole structure, tensioning and attaching the rainfly to the tent body, and staking down.
The setup and assembly of the tent is simple and quick, thanks to the single-pole construction made of lightweight and durable DAC Featherlite aluminum pole.
A great thing about the Tiger Wall is the plenty of storage space. The largest pocket (the so-called 3D bin) can be found at the head end near the ceiling. Two smaller pockets are located on either side at the entrance, and the last smaller pocket is positioned above your head. It has openings in the corners specifically for those who like to listen to music – you can place your mobile phone in the top pocket and run the headphone cable through the opening.
The pole runs through the center at the feet, so the back wall in the middle is always well tensioned, which creates more usable space in the foot area and reduces the chance of the sleeping bag's footbox sticking to the damp rainfly due to condensation.
To ensure better air ventilation and reduce possible condensation, we recommend using the zipper sliders on the rainfly at the entrances. With two sliders, you can partially open the zipper from the bottom and the top.
To ensure extra stability, there are Velcro straps on the inside of the rainfly, which allow you to connect the rainfly to the structure.
The tent can also be used in Fast Fly mode, where you leave the inner tent at home and head out only with the structure, rainfly, and stakes. This will give you a beautiful weight of 936 grams. However, you will need original footprint, which is not included in the package. The footprint will also extend the lifespan of the tent body and it is definitely useful to have.
The construction of the tent is simple and intuitive.
Bikepack
The Big Agnes Tiger Wall UL2 tent version designed for bikepacking features shorter pole segments that measure 30 cm in length when packed, instead of 50 cm. This makes it easy to fit the poles onto handlebars, into a saddlebag, or anywhere else. A durable waterproof stuff sack is also included, allowing you to secure the tent and poles to your handlebars.
On the outer side of the rainfly, we find a sewn strap with loops for drying wet gear and clothing.
The tent is also equipped with a special storage space for a helmet – on the outer side of the mosquito netting, there is an elastic strap for securing the helmet.
Footprint of the tent (not included in the package) is extended and forms the floor even in the vestibules. This allows you to store equipment without having to place it directly on the ground.
Materials and construction
The rainfly and the tent body are constructed from silicone-coated double ripstop nylon, which is also treated with a PU coating on the inner side. The combination of these two treatments (silicone + coating) ensures excellent waterproofness. The qualities of this tent are indeed reflected in annual research of the most used equipment in long-distance races, in which it has ranked in the TOP 5 for several years in a row.
All seams are taped with waterproof polyurethane tape that is solvent-free (PVC and VOC free). There will be no additional seam sealing and similar procedure required here.
The tent's structure consists of one durable DAC Featherlite NFL aluminum pole. The new ultralight and durable Dirt Dagger UL Tent Stakes are made of aluminum, feature a patented I-beam construction, and have a length of 15 cm.
The tent is semi-freestanding. This means it can stand on its own without stakes, but to keep the lower part at the foot end tensioned, it needs to be weighted down or staked.
