Extremely lightweight and innovative sleeping bag that combines the benefits of a classic sleeping bag and a quilt. The back section is made up of just one layer of fabric without down insulation, and the sleeping bag easily attaches to your sleeping pad. It's the perfect choice for long-distance treks, weekend crossings, bikepacking, long trail running races, and other adventures in summer conditions or during warmer spring and fall nights.
Why is the product exceptional?

Cumulus Aerial 250 has a hybrid design that combines the benefits of a traditional sleeping bag and a quilt. Aerial features a classic mummy shape of a closed sleeping bag without a zipper, but the back is stripped of down insulation and consists only of a single layer of Toray Airtastic fabric. Just like with a quilt, there’s no down on the back because compressed down loses loft, doesn’t insulate, and is practically pointless. You’re insulated from the ground by your sleeping pad, but unlike a quilt, you don’t actually touch it directly.
To keep the sleeping bag from shifting around while you're tossing and turning at night, you can attach it like a quilt using strings to your sleeping pad. This simple attachment system will ensure that the sleeping bag stays in the right position with the back part on the pad, and you can freely move around in it.
Thanks to its zipless design and the absence of down in the back part, the Aerial is extremely lightweight and packable.

The manufacturer chose the proven Toray® Airtastic 19 g/m² (7D ripstop nylon) fabric, which perfectly combines low weight, durability, breathability, and packability. On the outer side, it’s treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that reliably withstands light condensation of atmospheric moisture and a few drops of water.
The top performance is taken care of by 250 grams of goose down with a fill power of 900 cuin. The down to small feathers ratio is 95/5. The down is ethically sourced, coming from Poland. The total weight of the Aerial 250 sleeping bag is 385 grams.

Aerial 250 has a snug mummy shape designed for folks up to a maximum height of 185 cm. The width of the sleeping bag is 77 cm at the shoulders and 51 cm at the feet, which helps keep the warmth in effectively. The bottom part of the sleeping bag consists of just one airtight layer of ultralight fabric without down insulation, which significantly reduces the weight.
The construction with differential cutting and "H" shaped chambers ensures an even distribution of down and minimizes heat loss. The three-dimensional shaped hood with two separate drawcords allows for precise adjustment even in the dark. The upper and lower parts of the sleeping bag are filled separately, which increases control over the insulation distribution. The absence of a zipper further reduces weight and eliminates heat loss. Thanks to the simple attachment system, you can easily and quickly secure the sleeping bag to your sleeping pad, so it doesn’t shift while you sleep.

A simple travel stuff sack comes with the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag takes the shape of a cylinder with a volume of 3,5 liters and dimensions of 20 x 15 cm (height x diameter).
The original bag can't be compressed any further and isn't waterproof, so it's a good idea to get a bag that solves both issues. An ideal choice is a compression sack. Sea To Summit eVac Compression Dry Bag UL or a classic waterproof bag Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Bag (size 8 liters).
With this sleeping bag, you also get a storage bag for at home, so the down doesn't get compressed unnecessarily for a long time.
