Well-designed down booties for those who have perpetually cold feet. Thanks to the careful selection of the best materials and very high-quality down, the booties are light as a feather and can be packed into a small sack the size of an orange.
Who is it suitable for?
Ultralight and compact down booties for cold-sensitive hikers who need extra insulation for perpetually cold feet.
Materials
The slippers are filled with 40 grams of goose down with a fill power of 850 cuin and a hydrophobic treatment (PFC-free), making them more resistant to moisture.
The already proven ultralight fabric Pertex® Quantum 35 g/m², 20-denier ripstop (color Castlerock) or Pertex® Quantum 29 g/m², 15-denier ripstop (color Meteorite black). In both cases, DWR treatment (100% nylon) was used for the outer and inner construction.
The sole is made of a more robust Pertex® Quantum Pro 44 g/m², 30-denier ripstop fabric, with a DWR treatment (100% nylon). This fabric is additionally equipped with a thin microporous coating that enhances water resistance and maximizes the thermal insulation capabilities of the down filling.
Specifications
At the top edge, the booties are equipped with a drawstring to prevent heat loss. This can be easily adjusted with one hand. At the back of the edge, there are loops for hanging and more comfortable putting on.
You will also receive a stuff sack with the booties. The packed booties take up a volume of 0,5 liters and fit in your palm. The weight of the pair in size M is 90 grams.
