Weight
An alternative to sleeping bags for those who prioritize weight. In addition to weight and great packability, quilts have many other advantages. The version with 350 grams of down will serve you well from spring to autumn.
What makes the product unique?
To save weight and increase efficiency, quilts are stripped of all unnecessary features. On the back side from the waist up, inefficiently unused down has been removed, which would be mostly compressed under the body and would practically serve no purpose.
The ground insulation is handled by your sleeping pad. To ensure the opening on the back stays beneath you at all times, the quilt is secured to the pad using elastic straps. This setup keeps the quilt in a fixed position while you move inside it. The quilt can be used with any type of sleeping pad (inflatable or foam). The quilt does not have a hood, which you can substitute with a hat or a hooded down jacket/sweatshirt.
When comparing a sleeping bag and a quilt with the same weight and fill power (cuin) of down, the quilt offers better thermal performance. This is because more down is concentrated where it’s needed most—in the upper chambers.

The manufacturer here has relied on the already proven fabric Pertex Quantum 29 g/m², which perfectly combines low weight, durability, breathability, and packability. On the outer side, the fabric is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) coating that holds back light condensation or a few drops of water.
The excellent performance is provided by 380 grams of goose down with a fill power of 850 cuin. The ratio of down to small feathers is 95/5. The total weight of the Quilt 350 L is 630 grams.

The Quilt 350 features an H-shaped chamber construction. The extended size L is suitable for individuals up to 200 cm tall.
At the bottom, the quilt has a zipper that allows it to be fully opened and used as a blanket. You will especially appreciate this on warmer nights. When completely unzipped, it has a trapezoidal shape. Two people can cover themselves with the unzipped quilt if they snuggle up together.
By zipping it up and tightening the elastic bands, you create a foot box for your feet. You don't have to worry about drafts, as there is a chamber filled with down at the bottom edge that reliably fills any gaps.
The quilt is attached to the sleeping pad using two flat elastic straps, which you first thread onto the sleeping pad and then attach the quilt. You can adjust the width of the opening at the back by sliding the clips along the elastic strap. You can fasten and tighten it at the neck. At the top edge, there is a down-filled chamber that creates a collar around the neck when the quilt is tightened.

A simple travel storage sack is included with the quilt. It has the shape of a cylinder with a volume of 4 liters and dimensions of 22/16 cm (height/diameter).
The original bag cannot be further compressed and is not waterproof, so we recommend getting a bag that addresses both issues. An ideal choice is STS compression sack eVENT Ultra-Sil of size S or a classic waterproof sack Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Sack of size 8 l.
With the sleeping bag, you will receive a large breathable sack for home storage, so the quilt is not unnecessarily compressed for a long time.
