Cumulus Roamer 150 is a lightweight, versatile 5-in-1 down blanket – blanket, quilt, underquilt for a hammock, poncho, and travel pillow. On its own, it's perfect for summer and warmer spring, but it also works great in cooler conditions at huts or as an addition to your sleeping bag.

Usage
- Blanket – You can use Roamer as a classic down blanket in cabins or outside during warm summer nights.
- Quilt – You can quickly convert the blanket into a classic quilt with a foot cinch and easily attach it to your sleeping pad using an elastic strap or snaps.
- Poncho – Roamer has a head opening in the middle and snaps under the arms, so you can wear it like a poncho. It's great for warming up during breaks, at the campsite, or as an extra insulating layer in your sleeping bag in winter.
- Underquilt – You can easily hang Roamer under your hammock and combine it with a top quilt, for example, Taiga 250.
- Travel Pillow – With Roamer, you also get a stuff sack shaped like a horseshoe, so you can use the packed blanket as a comfy pillow while traveling on a plane or train.
Materials and Construction
The manufacturer went for the reliable Toray® Airtastic 19 g/m² (7D ripstop nylon) fabric, which perfectly combines low weight, durability, breathability, and packability. Plus, the fabric is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish that reliably withstands light condensation from air moisture and a few drops of water.
A top-notch performance is taken care of by 150 grams of goose down with a fill power of 850 cuin. The down to small feathers ratio is 95/5. The down is ethically sourced, coming from Poland. The total weight of the blanket is 370 grams.
Roamer 150 has a rectangular shape and a quilted construction with continuous baffles that keep the down evenly distributed. The center opening for your head lets you use it as a poncho. In quilt mode, you can open up the foot area to ventilate. Easy attachment to your sleeping pad is secured with elastic straps or snap compatibility.
Accessories
- Stuff sack – The packed blanket has a cylindrical shape with a volume of 1,5 liters and dimensions of 18 × 11 cm (height × diameter).
- Transport sack in a horseshoe shape – With this sack, you can comfortably use the packed blanket as a travel pillow.
- Stuff sack – It lets you store your blanket without compressing the down for a long time, which extends its lifespan and keeps the loft.
- Attachment system to the sleeping pad – A set of elastic bands and 10 adhesive snaps for quick and easy attachment of the blanket to the sleeping pad.
The original stuff sack can’t be compressed any further and it’s not waterproof, so we recommend getting a bag that solves both problems. The ideal choice is Sea To Summit eVac Compression Dry Bag UL or a classic waterproof bag Sea To Summit Ultra-Sil Dry Bag (size 3–5 liters).
