Specifications
DD Hammocks SuperLight – Bikepacker Mesh Tent is an internal tent insert (mosquito net with a footprint) designed for use with a shelter DD Hammocks SuperLight – Bikepacker Tarp (sold separately). It's fully insect-resistant and provides a comfy and protected spot to sleep after a long day in the saddle. The waterproof footprint made from light DD SuperLight material ensures protection against moisture from the ground too.
You can set up the inner tent underneath the pitched tarp and attach it to the stakes using the loops. Then, secure the peak with an elastic cord to the bike saddle, which will tension the mosquito net. Thanks to this simple and quick system, the inner tent adjusts to almost any saddle height.
The mosquito net weighs less than 500 grams (together with the tarp, the weight is under 1 kg) and takes up minimal space when packed – perfect for bikepackers and minimalists on long hikes. Besides using it with your bike, you can also set up the mosquito net on its own whenever you have a trekking pole or branch to hang it from.
The mosquito net is suitable for 1 person and together with compatible tarp is intended for three-season use.
