Swing Liteflex is an ultralight hiking umbrella from the German brand EuroSchirm, which has been manufacturing umbrellas for decades.

The umbrella has been designed to be as lightweight and durable as possible, providing protection from rain in all conditions. A major advantage of the umbrella is that you won't sweat under it in the rain like you would under a raincoat. Weighing just 209 grams, it is one of the lightest travel umbrellas in the world.

The basic structure of the umbrella is made of lightweight and extremely durable laminated high-density fiberglass. All parts are solid and corrosion-resistant. The ergonomic straight handle made of high-density EVA foam features grooves for a comfortable grip and a dry feel, even when the handle is wet. An adjustable wrist strap is also included. The cover is made of polyester. The material is highly tear-resistant.

The umbrella is not foldable so that it can withstand wind and worse conditions, in which foldable umbrellas tend to break. According to laboratory tests in the wind tunnel at KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology), it survived winds of 12 degrees – a hurricane. However, this test should be taken with a grain of salt; nonetheless, it remains a fact that you won't break the Swing Liteflex easily. It opens and closes manually without a button.

The umbrella comes with a practical case with mesh panels for ventilation and a shoulder strap for carrying.
