Gear Aid Tenacious Tape are GORE-TEX self-adhesive patches for quick repair of torn membrane, coated, and uncoated fabrics.

Goretex self-adhesive patches for repairing torn gear made from membrane fabrics, such as waterproof jackets, pants, gloves, and ski clothing. Thanks to their easy application, self-adhesive patches are an ideal solution for repairing damaged gear directly in the field.
Pressure-sensitive high-strength adhesive ensures maximum possible adhesion to the repaired fabric. The resistance of the patch can be increased by ironing it onto the repaired product, extending its lifespan up to 5 washes.
For large holes in the fabric, you can use whole patches; for smaller abrasions, you can cut a piece from the patch. In any case, the patch should extend beyond the repaired area by at least 10-15 mm in all directions. Trim the corners of the patch to be round.
Spread the fabric to be repaired on a flat surface and straighten it out. The surface of the fabric to be repaired should be dry and clean.
Remove the protective film from the cut patch and press the patch with the sticky side onto the fabric being repaired. Smooth the patch well. If you have an iron and you iron the patch onto the fabric, you can extend its lifespan up to 5 washes. It is advisable to iron gently through a damp cloth to avoid burning the fabric. If you are repairing torn fabric in the field, you can iron the patch at home later.
The full strength of the patch adhesive is achieved after 24 hours; however, the sealed fabric can be used immediately after the repair.
