Sew or iron on?
We offer both a sew-on version and a version with an iron-on layer.
First, decide where you want to place the patch. The iron-on version can be applied to fabrics that can withstand ironing, but it can also be sewn on without ironing.
You can sew the patch onto stretch pockets on a backpack or clothing where stitching holes aren’t an issue. Avoid using it on waterproof jackets.

How to apply an iron-on patch?
1. For steam irons, turn off the steam function. Do not apply the patch to synthetic materials (nylon). Cotton and denim are ideal for ironing. The more textured the fabric, the better the patch will adhere.
2. Check the iron’s temperature setting. Always follow the maximum recommended ironing temperature for the base fabric you are applying the patch to.
3. Place the patch on clean, dry fabric and iron it through a thin cotton cloth (e.g., a dish towel), not directly onto the fabric.
4. Apply firm pressure while ironing and hold for a few seconds. It’s important to ensure the patch adheres evenly to the fabric.
5. Allow the fabric to cool down to let the melted adhesive bond with the material properly.
