Wide shoulder straps with stretch pockets – Particularly useful on a frameless backpack, the wide, comfortable, and well-padded shoulder straps ensure a pleasant carrying experience. Each strap features durable stretch pockets, suitable for holding a small water bottle or small essentials like sunglasses, tissues, or snacks.

Side pockets – The side pockets, with elastic hems at the top, are spacious and deep enough to hold up to two 1,5 l bottles. They are easily accessible without removing the pack. Each pocket includes a drainage hole at the bottom to prevent water accumulation during rain.

Stretch kangaroo pocket – A large pocket made of durable stretch material Ecopak™ UltraStretch™ on the front of the pack is ideal for items like a waterproof jacket, trowel, tent stakes, and similar gear. Additional attachment options are provided by elastic cords on the outer side of the pocket, which can be removed or repositioned as needed.

Side elastic cords – Elastic cords with Linelocs on the sides are useful for compression or attaching gear like trekking poles or foam sleeping pads. They can also be adjusted for attaching a sleeping pad externally to provide extra back padding.

Comfortable hip belt with pockets – A padded, wide hip belt distributes weight evenly between the shoulders and hips. The belt features spacious zippered pockets with waterproof zippers. The improved design of the hip belt allows for comfortable wearing and use even for very slim individuals.

Adjustable sternum strap – The sternum strap can be adjusted up or down or removed entirely.

Materials

The backpack is constructed from Ecopak™ EPL Ultra 200 with stretch pockets made from durable Ecopak™ UltraStretch™ material. All seams on the backpack are taped.

Ecopak™ EPL Ultra 200 is a new range of waterproof fabrics for backpacks, made of 67% woven UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene, a non-branded Dyneema fiber) and 33% recycled polyester blend Repreve. This layer is laminated to a thin 0.5 mil RUV recycled film, making it one of the strongest laminated backpack materials currently on the market with a low weight.

UHMWPE has an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making it the strongest fiber in the world. It is 15 times stronger than high-quality steel, lightweight, abrasion-resistant, waterproof, and resistant to UV radiation and chemicals.

In addition to its outstanding properties, this fabric is notable for its low environmental impact and high percentage of recycled content. The patented Challenge RUV recycled film backing is made from 100% recycled materials and is 97% UV-resistant. Each meter of ECOPAK™ fabric saves over 0,5 kg of CO2 compared to nylon backpack fabric. ECOPAK™ contains no harmful TPU, PVC, DWR, or other coatings. CO2 emissions during the production of recycled polyester Repreve are 50% lower than those of nylon and comparable to organic cotton.
