A lightweight mechanical water filter for everyday use in nature and while traveling. Thanks to the hollow fibers with a porosity of 0,1 microns, it removes not just visible impurities but also bacteria and protozoa. The standard 28 mm thread on both sides allows direct screwing onto most PET bottles. The package includes 2 foldable bottles and additional accessories for creating a gravity system.
This could come in handy for you.

HydroBlu Versa Flow is a versatile mechanical water filter that works on the principle of filtration using hollow fibers with a pore size of 0,1 microns. It removes visible impurities, cloudiness, 99,9% of bacteria (including E. coli and Salmonella), and parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium). It filters the water through the outer wall of the fibers, achieving higher flow rates and a lower risk of clogging.
Thanks to the 28 mm thread on both sides of the filter, you can screw it onto most standard PET bottles and water bladders, use it as part of a hydration and gravity system, or drink water straight from a natural source like a straw.
The manufacturer's claimed max lifespan of the filter is 378 000 liters. The filter has a transparent inspection window on the body that lets you visually check for membrane contamination and the need for backflushing.
You can buy an additional filtering module for the filter – Activated Carbon Filter to remove heavy metals (e.g., lead, cadmium, nickel, zinc), chemical substances like chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, or fuel residues, and at the same time improve the taste and clarity of the water.
The package also includes 2x HydroBlu Collapsible Canteen folding bottles (with a volume of 1,9 liters), an adapter to create a gravity system with a bucket, a silicone hose (60 cm long), and a hose clamp.

After each use or filtering about 10 liters of water, we recommend backflushing the filter. Just screw a clean PET bottle onto the output end (blue cap) and push water through in the opposite direction. With the transparent body of the filter, you can easily visually check the condition of the membrane.
Before long-term storage, sterilize the filter – push a solution of regular bleach (1/4 teaspoon per 1 L of water) through it, let it sit for 30 minutes, and then rinse with clean water. Let the filter dry at room temperature and store it in a cool, dry place. You can read more about maintaining water filters at our blog.
