Lightweight mechanical water filter for everyday use in nature and while traveling, packed together with an additional carbon filter. The water filter removes not only visible impurities but also bacteria and protozoa, while the carbon filter reduces heavy metals and chemicals, improves taste, and eliminates odors. The standard 28 mm thread on both sides of the filters allows them to be directly screwed together and onto most PET bottles.
Why is the product exceptional?

HydroBlu Versa Flow is a versatile mechanical water filter that works on the principle of filtration using hollow fibers with pores of 0,1 microns. It removes visible impurities, turbidity, 99,9% of bacteria (including E. coli and Salmonella), and parasites (Giardia, Cryptosporidium). It filters water through the outer wall of the fibers, achieving higher flow rates and a lower risk of clogging.
Thanks to the 28 mm thread on both sides of the filter, you can screw it onto most regular PET bottles and water bladders, use it as part of a hydration and gravity system, or drink water straight from a natural source like a straw.
The manufacturer's stated max filter lifespan is 378 000 liters. The filter has a clear inspection window on the body that lets you visually check for membrane contamination and the need for backflushing.

HydroBlu Activated Carbon Filter is a replacement filter that significantly improves the quality of filtered water. It uses a combination of activated carbon and an ion exchange resin to remove heavy metals (like lead, cadmium, nickel, zinc), chemicals (such as chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, or fuel residues), and at the same time, it greatly enhances the taste and clarity of the water. Ion exchange resins capture harmful ions and replace them with harmless ones, like sodium and potassium.
It’s used as an additional accessory for the HydroBlu Versa Flow water filter. Using the carbon filter is easy – you just screw it onto the output end of the water filter.

After each use or after filtering about 10 liters of water, we recommend backflushing the Versa Flow water filter. Just screw a clean PET bottle onto the output end (blue cap) and push water through in the opposite direction. You can easily check the condition of the membrane visually through the clear body of the filter.
Before long-term storage of the Versa Flow water filter, sterilize it – push a solution of regular bleach (1/4 teaspoon per 1 l of water) through it, let it sit for 30 minutes, and then rinse with clean water. Let the filter dry at room temperature and store it in a cool, dry place.
Activated Carbon Filter is low-maintenance – it doesn’t need backflushing or chemical cleaning. After reaching a lifespan of 568 liters, it loses effectiveness and needs to be replaced with a new one. Between uses, just store it dry and out of direct sunlight. You can also buy a carbon filter separately.
