HMG Mid 1
Tent Mid 1 from the American brand Hyperlite Mountain Gear It is an ultralight three-season single-wall tent for one person, which is set up on a single trekking pole. It is made of durable and waterproof Dyneema material, and its weight is an incredible 476 grams. This tent will be appreciated especially by true fans of ultralight and thru-hiking.
The tent is designed for 1 person, but it provides enough space and comfort for taller individuals, as its inner length is a beautiful 244 cm. The free space can also be used for storing your gear and backpack inside the tent. There is also a spacious vestibule available.
The entrance to the tent with a YKK zipper can be fully opened, and its doors can be secured using integrated loops with magnets. The inner doors feature an integrated mosquito net made of No-See-Um mesh with a two-way YKK zipper. Inside the tent, there is a pocket for storing a mobile phone or other essentials.
The tent material is 100% waterproof, and all seams are taped, providing full protection against rain and other natural elements. Since it is a single-wall tent, one must expect a higher degree of condensation compared to double-wall tents. However, the tent features two ventilation openings, and it is also possible to adjust the ventilation around the tent by changing the height of the footprint using adjustable loops.
The tent construction is very simple; it is set up on one trekking pole and has a number of tensioning points for secure anchoring and stability of the tent even in the wind. Anchoring the tent with at least 6 stakes is ideal. The package also includes an extension for the trekking pole if you are using shorter poles (up to 130 cm).

Features

At the entrance of the tent, there are two vents with integrated mosquito nets to reduce condensation inside the tent.
The peak of the tent designated for inserting a trekking pole is reinforced. There is also a loop for additional tensioning and stabilizing the tent.
For simplicity and quick attachment, the tent entrance doors have integrated loops with magnets.
The tent features 6 anchoring points with Line-locks. In stressed areas, the material is additionally reinforced.
There are 4 additional guy points with loops and reflective elements for better visibility at night placed around the tent.
The footprint can be pulled up to the tent walls using the integrated loops and clips inside the tent, or loosened to improve air circulation.
Inside the tent, there is a mesh pocket for storing a mobile phone, headlamp, or any small items you want to have readily available.

Dyneema® fiber is a revolutionary material not only in the outdoor world. It has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio, making it the strongest fiber in the world. Dyneema® fibers are 15 times stronger than quality steel. They are lightweight, abrasion-resistant, waterproof, and resistant to UV radiation and chemicals.
The Mid 1 tent from HMG is constructed from composite fabric Dyneema® – Dyneema® Composite Fabric 0.55 (tent walls) and Dyneema® Composite Fabric 0.96 (floor), which are created by fusing and laminating additional layers with Dyneema® fibers. Both of these materials excel in their lightweight nature, high abrasion resistance, exceptional strength, excellent rip-stop properties, and waterproofness.
The most stressed parts of the tent are additionally reinforced with an even stronger and more durable material, Dyneema® Composite Fabric 1.3 or Dyneema® Composite Hybrid 3.8.
