Kula Cloth is the first (specially designed) antimicrobial pee cloth for personal outdoor hygiene. Say goodbye to paper tissues and the hassle of figuring out where to dispose of them! Kula Cloth is reusable and can easily be washed, even in the wilderness.
The Kula Cloth is made from high-quality, quick-drying, and antimicrobial materials that prevent the growth of bacteria and unwanted odors. One side features a soft, absorbent layer infused with silver, while the other side has a waterproof layer, ensuring it’s safe and comfortable to use.
With snaps, you can fold it in half and secure it, and the built-in loop allows you to attach it to your backpack.
Unlike disposable options, the Kula Cloth is reusable and long-lasting—just wash it, which can be easily done even during a hike.

The founders of the brand say: “Kula Cloth is for anyone who squats to pee! However, some people also use it as a handkerchief or small cloth.”
This means it’s especially appreciated by female hikers and nature lovers. That said, it can also be useful for men—for instance, to dry off after using the Culo Clean portable bidet.
Once you get used to Kula, you’ll never want to part with it. It’s the kind of gear you’ll wish you had not only in the wilderness but also in everyday life, especially when faced with an empty toilet paper roll in public restrooms.
We added this product to our collection at the suggestion of our ambassador Pavlína Adam, who has been using Kula Cloth since her PCT thru-hike in 2021 and absolutely swears by it. Kula Cloth also makes it easier to follow Leave No Trace principles.

For single-day trips, there’s no need to wash the cloth between uses. The most gentle option is to rinse it with soap in a sink when you return home, hang it up, and let it dry. If you prefer not to wash it by hand, simply toss it in the washing machine when you get home (we recommend keeping the snap closed to avoid snagging in the machine).
For longer trips, wash it as needed with a few drops of biodegradable soap and hang it to dry. If your Kula Cloth gets wet in the rain, you can still use it as a “wet wipe”. Kula Cloth dries very quickly — just hang it on a tree or trekking pole in the field. UV rays from the sun also help "sterilize" it during drying.
Kula Cloth can be cleaned in a regular washer/dryer, but for maximum product longevity, hand washing is recommended. Avoid using fabric softeners and bleach.
