The Biggie Pack Ultra is an ultralight yet durable frameless backpack for weekend hikes. If you've been into ultralight backpacking for a while and have your gear finely tuned, you can handle even long-distance trails with it. The backpack is made from durable and waterproof Ecopak™ EPL Ultra 200 material.

The Biggie Pack offers you a simple, proven design, 7 spacious external pockets, waterproof material, loops for attaching bungee cords, load-lifter straps, and a range of other features.
The Biggie Pack offers a bit more features than a similar backpack Elementum. We will focus on the individual differences below in the features section.
The backpack is available in two sizes:
The length indicated for sizes is the distance from the top side of the shoulder straps to the bottom side of the backpack.

The fact that the back of the backpack is not reinforced with a solid frame is both an advantage and a disadvantage. The main advantage is the weight savings on a part of the backpack that is not completely necessary. However, one must pay more attention when packing things into the backpack to prevent sharp objects from digging into their back. If you pack the backpack well, it is really comfortable. With a little practice, it will become easy for you, and you will perceive the lack of a frame as a great positive.
Thanks to the frameless construction and minimalist design, the weight of the backpack has reached an incredible 520 grams.
We have found it effective to place a folded inflatable sleeping pad in a rectangle against the back of the backpack, seat pad or thin EVA foam sleeping pad.
The second option for ensuring comfortable back support is to attach a seat pad or a folded foam sleeping pad externally to the backpack, using elastic cords that you can secure to the loops on the sides of the backpack. This way, you create external padding and will always have the seat pad at hand.
The manufacturer states the backpack's load capacity is 12 kg. For maximum comfort, we would recommend keeping the weight around 10 kg. For this reason, the backpack is more suitable for more experienced hikers with well-tuned ultralight gear list.

Minimalist design – the backpack has one main compartment with roll-top closure and a cross strap for additional compression or gear attachment. This allows you to easily adjust the height of the backpack based on its fill.
Wide shoulder straps – especially with a frameless backpack, you will appreciate the wide, comfortable, and pleasantly padded shoulder straps. The padding is covered with a stretchy fabric that does not damage membrane clothing.
Side pockets – the pockets on the sides are made of the same material as the body of the backpack and can easily hold a 2-liter bottle. They have an elastic rim at the top, so the contents do not fall out. At the bottom of the pockets, you will find a drainage hole to prevent water from collecting there during rain.
Sturdy kangaroo pocket – on the front of the backpack, there is a spacious pocket made of durable ULTRA material. It is ideal for a waterproof jacket, toilet trowel, tent stakes, and similar gear. Additionally, the elastic drawstrings on the outside of this pocket provide another option for attaching lightweight gear/clothing. You can easily remove the cords and leave it at home or attach it elsewhere.
Attachment of the foam sleeping pad – on the bottom side, the backpack has 2 paracords with a Lineloc tightening component prepared. You can easily attach a foam sleeping pad or other gear.

Comfortable hip belt with pockets – spacious pockets on the hip belt measuring 18 cm can hold even larger smartphones. The zippers on these pockets are waterproof. In the right pocket, there is also a clip for attaching keys.
Mesh pockets on the shoulder straps – on both shoulder straps, you will find a spacious pocket made of durable mesh fabric. These pockets are perfect for a small smartphone, sunglasses, snacks, tissues, and other small items you want to have within easy reach.
Side drawcords – for attaching equipment to the sides, such as trekking poles, foam sleeping pads, etc., the drawcords with Lineloc can be useful.
Compatibility with hydration bladders – inside the backpack, there is a loop for hanging the hydration bladder, and between the shoulder straps, you will find a hole for the drinking tube.
Adjustable chest strap – you can slide the chest strap up and down, or you can remove it and leave it at home if needed.
Biggie Pack differs from a similar backpack Liteway Elementum with these features:

The backpack is constructed from Ecopak™ EPL Ultra 200 material. Stretch pockets are made of durable nylon, zippers from YKK, and buckles from Woojin Plastic.
Ecopak™ EPL Ultra 200 is a new line of waterproof fabrics for backpacks made of 67% woven UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene – unbranded dyneema fiber) and 33% recycled polyester blend Repreve. This layer is then laminated to a thin 0,5 mil RUV recycled film. It is one of the strongest laminated materials for lightweight backpacks currently available on the market.
UHMWPE has a remarkable strength-to-weight ratio, making it the strongest fiber in the world. The fibers are 15x stronger than high-quality steel, lightweight, abrasion-resistant, waterproof, and resistant to UV radiation and chemicals. The main material of the backpack is 100% waterproof, but please note that the seams of the backpack are not sealed. This means that the backpack is not fully waterproof.
In addition to its great properties, this fabric stands out for its low environmental impact and high content of recycled materials. The patented backing made from recycled Challenge RUV film is 100% recycled and 97% UV resistant. Every meter of ECOPAK™ fabric saves more than 0,5 kg of CO2 compared to nylon fabric. ECOPAK™ contains no harmful TPU, PVC, DWR, or other coatings. The CO2 emissions in the production of recycled polyester Repreve are 50% lower than those of nylon and comparable to organic cotton.
Material properties: weight – 119 g/m²; waterproofness – 200+ psi (13,8+ bar); abrasion resistance ASTM 3884 – 4 400 cycles; fabric tear strength ASTM D2261 – 470 N / 47 kg (warp), 600 N / 60 kg (fill)
