The new line of the most popular model from Liteway, tested by hundreds of hikers. It’s a reliable buddy for weekend hikes as well as longer treks.
The improved model has a changed material for the external pockets. The rear stretch pocket, side pockets, and shoulder pockets are now made from durable UltraStretch material. The backpack now features removable balance straps. There’s also a minor change in the proportions of the hip belt and the hip pockets have been shifted forward for more comfortable access. The simple, proven design, waterproof material, and loops for attaching cords remain unchanged...
The backpack is available in three sizes:
The length listed with the sizes is the distance from the top side of the shoulder straps to the bottom side of the backpack.

The fact that the back of the backpack isn't reinforced with a solid frame is both a bit of a blessing and a curse. The main advantage is the weight saving on a part of the backpack that's not really necessary. But you have to be a bit more careful when packing your stuff so that square items don’t poke your back. However, if you pack the backpack well, it's seriously comfortable. With a little practice, it'll become a piece of cake for you, and you’ll see the lack of a frame as a big plus.
Thanks to the frameless construction and minimalist design, the weight of the backpack has hit an incredible 570 grams.
We've found it works well to put a folded inflatable sleeping pad in a rectangle against the back of the backpack or EVA sleeping pad (26 g).
Another option to ensure comfy backs is to attach a seat pad or a rolled-up foam mat to the outside of your pack using rubber bands, which you can secure to the backpack with the loops on the sides. This way, you'll create some external cushioning and have the seat pad handy at all times.

Minimalist design – the backpack has one main compartment with a roll-top closure and a cross strap for extra compression or attaching gear. This way, you can easily adjust the height of the backpack based on how much you’ve packed.
Wide shoulder straps – especially with a frameless backpack, you'll appreciate wide, comfortable, and nicely padded shoulder straps like those on the Elementum.
Side pockets – the pockets on the sides of the backpack are stretch pockets made from UltraStretch material, which can easily hold a 2 l bottle.
Front stretch pocket – on the front of the backpack, there's a spacious pocket made of UltraStretch material. It's perfect for a waterproof jacket, toilet trowel, stakes, and similar gear. You also get another option for attaching lightweight equipment/clothing with the drawcords on the outside of this pocket. But you can easily remove the cord and leave it at home or attach it elsewhere.
Attaching a foam sleeping pad – on the bottom side, the backpack has 2 paracords with a Lineloc tightening component ready for you. Here, you can easily attach a foam sleeping pad or other gear.

Comfortable hip belt with pockets – spacious pockets on the hip belt can fit even a bigger smartphone. The zippers on these pockets are waterproof. There's also a clip in the pockets to attach your keys or wallet.
Stretch pockets on shoulder straps – on both shoulder straps, you'll find a roomy pocket made of durable UltraStretch material. These pockets are perfect for smaller smartphones, sunglasses, snacks, tissues, and other small stuff you want to keep handy at all times.
Side pull cords – for attaching gear to the sides like trekking poles, foam sleeping pads, etc., side pull cords with Linelocs will do the trick.
Hydration bladder compatibility – inside the backpack, there’s a hook to hang your hydration bladder, and between the shoulder straps, you’ll find an opening for routing the hose.
Adjustable chest strap – you can slide the chest strap up and down or remove it if you don’t need it and leave it at home.
Balance straps – the backpack comes with removable balance straps that let you pull the pack closer to your body, helping you better manage its center of gravity.

The backpack is made from material Ultra200X, stretch pockets are made of durable UltraStretch, zippers from YKK and buckles from Woojin Plastic.
Ultra200X is the successor to the Ultra200 material. It's an extremely durable yet still lightweight waterproof material. This fabric is largely made from UHMWPE (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene – unbranded dyneema fiber) and boasts an impressive strength-to-weight ratio. UHMWPE fibers are 15x stronger than high-quality steel, lightweight, abrasion-resistant, waterproof, and resistant to UV radiation and chemicals.
This is one of the toughest laminated materials for lightweight backpacks currently on the market. The main material (fabric) of the backpack is 100% waterproof, but please pay attention to the fact that the seams of the backpack are not sealed. That means the backpack isn't fully waterproof.
