Weight
The Liteway Illusion Solo tent is an ultralight single-wall tent for one person with a setup on one trekking pole. The mosquito net with a floor is integrated into the rainfly, providing full protection against insects, rain, and dripping water, while also minimizing weight and packed volume.
Pyramid-shaped tents excel in remarkable wind resistance. If the tent is well anchored with stakes and trekking poles are properly secured, the tent has nowhere to collapse in strong winds. It also withstands rain excellently, as water simply drains off due to the steep walls. Pyramids have a very low weight and are easy to set up.
Thanks to the thoughtful design, where the mosquito net is permanently sewn to the rainfly, you have full protection against insects and adverse weather conditions. The trekking pole is slightly slanted, so it doesn't get in the way inside. There is also a spacious vestibule for equipment or possible cooking in bad weather. The weight of this tent is an impressive 590 grams!
To build the tent, you need a trekking pole adjustable to 130-135 cm or another pole of this length. You can view the construction process in the video.
Our ambassador Pavlína Adam tested this tent in Bolivia, read the detailed review of the Illusion Solo Tent.

The tent has 1 entrance equipped with a waterproof YKK Aquagard zipper.
At the top, there are 2 vents to minimize condensation inside the tent. The vents are covered with mesh to prevent insects from getting inside.
At the bottom edge – in the center and at the corners – there are Linelocs (plastic components for loosening and tightening paracord).
For adjusting the inner height or improving stability in the wind, there are anchoring points at the lower edges and on the surface on all sides.
The peak of the tent is reinforced on the inside with durable X-Pac material to prevent damage from trekking poles.
The entrance zipper at the bottom is equipped with a cross buckle to prevent excessive tension on the zipper when disconnecting the tent.
If you want to keep the tent slightly open for better air ventilation, you can roll up part of the rainfly and secure it with a loop and a toggle.
The inner mosquito net has 2 small pockets at the top for small items like a mobile phone, headlamp, etc.

Materials
The manufacturer opted for polyester here instead of traditional nylon (polyamide), which we encounter in most ultralight tents. The reason is that wet polyester does not sag as much and does not absorb as much water, so it dries faster.
Warning, the seams are not taped! Since the tent is constructed from silicone-coated polyester, it cannot be taped with waterproof polyurethane strips like most tents (they don't stick to the silicone surface). You need to coat the seams with silicone adhesive/coating from the outside before use. You can use Gear Aid Seam Grip +Sil 28g or prepare the coating at home from sanitary silicone and paint thinner (white spirit) (in a ratio of about 1:2, a consistency similar to oil).
Stakes are not included in the package. You will need at least six stakes for the setup, but it's better to be armed with at least eight.
