Dart XT Long Johns
Insulated men’s bottoms Dart XT Long Johns from the new Montane collection are a continuation of the popular Dart Thermo Long Johns model. Just like their predecessor, they serve excellently as the main base layer for hiking and running in cold weather, as an additional layer to increase thermal insulation in winter, or for sleeping.
Dart XT Long Johns offer a more sophisticated and comfortable elastic waistband compared to the older version, a slightly higher gram weight of the material used, and above all, they are designed without an open fly, although the product photos depict a fly. In appearance and construction, they resemble leggings more.
Constructed from 88% APEX THERMO ECO material (100% recycled polyester) and 12% elastane. The inner side features softly brushed fibers for maximum comfort and increased thermal comfort.
The Dart XT base layers have all the necessary properties that you can expect from thermal underwear, in our opinion:
- optimal thickness (material weight 175 g/m²) for cooler seasons of the year,
- Polygiene® antibacterial treatment that neutralizes odor,
- flexibility in all directions due to 12% elastane blend,
- breathability and quick moisture wicking,
- lightweight and yet good warmth.
WARNING: The product photos depict an open fly on the bottoms, however, the goods supplied by the manufacturer do not have this fly. However, the anatomically shaped cut is maintained thanks to the double wedge without a vent.

Polygiene®
An important feature of Dart synthetic clothing is the Polygiene antibacterial treatment, which neutralizes odor caused by bacteria. You don’t need to wash it right after a single sweat session, and it will keep you going for several days in a row.
Polygiene technology uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride), which has antimicrobial properties. Polygiene is also approved by bluesign®, meaning it is manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers, and those wearing the treated clothes.
