Specifications
The Trailblazer 44 from Montane's new Spring/Summer 2024 collection introduces several updates and improvements. In addition to being made from recycled materials, the most significant changes involve access to the main compartment, the front pocket, and a new attachment system.
The large front stretch pocket now features side access with a zippered closure. On the opposite side of this pocket, you'll find another zipper providing side entry to the main compartment, allowing quick access to packed gear without having to unload everything through the top roll closure. The new T-Hook attachment system lets you adjust the position of attachment points on the pack using hooks that fit into multiple slots along the front panel.
The pack is constructed from lightweight and durable recycled RAPTOR Cross Lite 70D Nylon, while the bottom panel is reinforced with triple ripstop RAPTOR Resistance 210D Nylon, providing increased abrasion resistance. These materials repel light rain thanks to a durable polyurethane composite coating (UTS) and a PFC-free DWR finish, making the pack more environmentally friendly for both the planet and the user.
Comfort and stability are ensured by a 3D-molded foam back panel with a breathable ventilation section. The internal aluminum ergonomic frame distributes weight evenly between the shoulder straps and hip belt. Additional load-lifter straps allow for better weight adjustment, while a simple compression cord system enhances versatility. Of course, the pack is also compatible with hydration bladders.
The pack comes in one size and is suitable for back lengths between 40 and 53 cm. Thanks to the Zephyr AD back system, you can adjust the back length to your needs. For fast movement in the mountains
The backpack closely conforms to the user's body while allowing full freedom of active movement. The COVALENT system adapts perfectly to individual body shapes.
Quick attachment of trekking poles
The new T-Hook attachment system allows adjustable placement of fastening points on the backpack using hooks that can be inserted into multiple slots on the sides of the front panel.
Shoulder strap pockets
Sufficiently large for a mobile phone or smaller bottles. Two chest straps with a quick-release Click and Go system keep everything in place during quick movements.
Side pockets
The comfortable hip belt has 2 easily accessible zippered pockets suitable for snacks or a wallet. Two side mesh pockets allow quick access to a water bottle.
Roll-top closure
You roll the top of the pack several times and secure the lid buckles with the side buckles on the pack.
Side entry
Easy access to items located at the bottom of the backpack through the new zippered side entrance.
Front mesh pocket
The front breathable mesh pocket is now accessible from the side and closes with a zipper.
Adjustable back length
Simple ZephyrAD system for easy adjustment of the backpack length to the perfect fit.
