Women’s Protium Lite Pull-On
Women’s Protium Lite Pull-On is a women’s lightweight mid-layer without a hood from the Montane collection for 2023. It is a lightweight version of the sweatshirt Protium Jacket. The sweatshirt has exactly the ideal fabric weight for the warmer spring to autumn season. In cooler weather, you can use it as a thermal shirt or for layering.
What further excites us about this sweatshirt is its thoughtful fit. It moves with you and doesn't restrict you at all. The sweatshirt is without a hood and features a zipper that is 1/3 of the length. A higher proportion of elastane ensures that the sweatshirt is pleasantly stretchy.
The main reason why this sweatshirt caught our attention is the Thermo Grid Lite material, which features brushed fibers with a grid structure on the inside. We have become incredibly fond of this material construction and consider it almost as a necessity for every hoodie or sweatshirt for outdoor activities. The Lite material is lightweight and excellent at wicking moisture away. Additionally, the sweatshirt is treated with Polygiene® antibacterial treatment, which neutralizes odors, so you don't have to wash it after every wear.
The sweatshirt has a fitted cut for active movement in the mountains, so if you have a more athletic muscular build, it might be better to choose a larger size.

Thermo Grid Lite
Patented knitted construction with a mesh structure that increases warmth and breathability while reducing the weight and volume of the fabric. The mesh structure creates targeted touch points for better moisture management. The surface close to the skin absorbs sweat vapor and channels it to the outer surface, where the moisture is dispersed for more effective evaporation. The mesh structure also creates open air channels for the discharge of excess body heat.
Polygiene®
The material of the hoodie and several other Montane products is treated with the antibacterial Polygiene treatment, which neutralizes odor caused by bacteria. You don’t need to wash it right after a single sweat session, and it will keep you going for several days in a row. Polygiene technology uses low concentrations of silver salt (silver chloride), which has antimicrobial properties. Polygiene is also approved by bluesign®, meaning it is manufactured in a way that is safe for the environment, workers, and those wearing the treated clothes.
