Ultralight three-season backpacking tent for 1 person. The FreeLite 1 from MSR features a thoughtful design, one entrance with a vestibule, and storage space. It works great for all expeditions where grams and small packed size play a significant role.

The lightweight three-season semi-freestanding tent MSR Freelite 1 is an ideal choice for solo hikers who want to reduce the weight of their gear without sacrificing space or features they are accustomed to.
Inner tent: Although it still maintains the true rectangular shape of the floor (unlike most other tents) and offers a 100 cm internal height (which is 7,6 cm more than before), it weighs 170 grams less than the previous FreeLite one-person model. The "bathtub" floor protects against adverse weather, and the mesh provides excellent ventilation. The two-way entrance of the tent is equipped with new zippers that are more durable and can be easily operated with one hand. These zippers close into a single point, so you always know where the entrance should open, even when it’s dark outside. The newly added pockets are suitable for electronics and have openings for headphone and charger cables. The mesh pocket above is ideal for a headlamp, sunglasses, and other small items you want to keep within reach.
Rainfly and construction: The structure is made of durable DAC NFL tent poles. The DuraShield™ waterproof coating on the rainfly and taped seams will keep you dry. The cutout on the rainfly saves weight. The large vestibule is ideal for storing all the gear you don't want inside. The vestibule door with easy entry and exit feature StayDry™ trims that prevent water from dripping on you and your gear.
