An ultralight, spacious tent suitable for up to four people, pitched using two connected trekking poles, a ski, or other poles. It’s a versatile option for all types of adventures, from classic mountain traverses to winter expeditions.

The Front Range™ 4 Tarp is a shelter for four people. It can be used year-round, including during ski mountaineering and alpine trips, as well as other adventurous expeditions. Its simple construction makes it exceptionally versatile and resistant to wind. The relatively steep walls allow water to easily run off and snow to slide down.
The rainfly is constructed from 20 denier ripstop nylon, which is treated with a silicone coating on the outside and a patented polyurethane coating Xtreme Shield™ (1200 mm) on the inside, ensuring longevity and durability. The outer tent (rainfly) can also be supplemented with inner tent (with a mosquito net and footprint). This will create a fully functional double-wall tent in which you are protected from dripping water and insects.

The tent construction is very simple – just anchor the 4 corners and insert the connected trekking poles set to a height of 162 cm. At the peak of the tent, there is a reinforcement to prevent damage from the trekking pole or any other pole.
The tent has one zippered entrance protected by a wide storm flap. At the top, there is a large vent window with a mosquito net to minimize condensation. At the bottom edge, there are reinforced eyelets in the center on all sides for additional tensioning.
Before the first use, you will need to seal all seams on the inside. Fortunately, the package already includes a seam sealing product, Gear Aid Seam Grip + FC. You can find instructions on how to seal the seams in this video.
