MSR Front Range Bug/Floor Insert
Floor (footprint) with a mosquito net – an inner tent providing effective protection against insects, ground moisture, and runoff water. Officially designed as an accessory for theMSR Front Range™ 4 Person Ultralight Tarp Shelter, but it can also be used independently.
Inner tent for maximum comfort
If you want to avoid pesky insects and ensure optimal protection against ground moisture and runoff water, the additional inner tent is an excellent choice. Combined with the MSR Front Range™ 4 Person Ultralight Tarp Shelter, it creates a full-fledged double-wall tent. This combination offers improved protection against condensation forming on the inside of the rainfly. The inner tent serves as a barrier between you and the wet rainfly. The inner tent can, of course, also be used independently.
The tent floor is made of durable 30D ripstop nylon with a patented Xtreme Shield™ polyurethane coating (3000 mm) and DWR treatment. The mosquito net is crafted from reliable 15D micro-mesh nylon. Corners and tension points are reinforced for durability. The peak features a tunnel made of robust material to prevent trekking poles from damaging the rainfly or inner tent.
Setting up the tent is very simple—just secure the 4 corners and insert connected trekking poles adjusted to a height of 162 cm.
