NEMO Switchback
The NEMO Switchback foam sleeping pad with closed-cell foam and a thermal resistance of R = 2,0 is a versatile three-season sleeping pad, suitable also for sitting or as an additional insulation layer under an inflatable sleeping pad in winter conditions.
Its advantage is high durability and low weight (415 grams). Unlike inflatable sleeping pads, it is nearly indestructible and you can pack it in just a few seconds.
The sleeping pad has a practical accordion folding design with an innovative hexagonal pattern that enhances comfort and allows for the placement of bumps on the pad for better packability. To increase thermal performance, it is coated on the top side with a silver thermal-reflective layer.
The sleeping pad has standard dimensions of 183 cm x 51 cm (length x width) with a thickness of 2,3 cm, and when packed, it measures 51 x 14 x 13 cm.
If necessary, the sleeping pad can be easily shortened and weight can be saved by cutting off one or more sections, from which you can then create a practical sit pad.
