You'll get the best results if you first wash the clothing in Nikwax Tech Wash (in a separate washing cycle, you don't need to dry it). Shake before use. Follow the instructions on the label and product tag.

Washing in the washing machine:

• Clean the reservoir of any leftover detergent.
• Insert a max of 2 clean pieces of clothing.
• Use 2 caps (100 ml) of the product for each piece.
• Wash on a low temperature setting for synthetics with a low spin.

Clothes with loose seams shouldn’t be washed in the machine, but rather hand wash them. After waterproofing and drying, they can be re-glued with a special clear adhesive.

Hand washing (gloves recommended):

• Fill the sink with warm water (just enough for your hands).
• Put 2 caps of the solution on each piece.
• Mix it well, let it soak for 5–10 minutes, then mix it again.
• Swish it in cold water until it's completely clean.

Drying: Let it air dry. After a few minutes, check it out and wipe off any excess treatment with a damp cloth. If the manufacturer allows it, you can use a dryer on a low setting.

Warning: Don’t use regular detergents. Keep out of reach of children. Do not ingest. Protect your eyes. If in eyes rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists get medical advice/attention.
