It uses a hybrid power system, allowing it to run on the included rechargeable battery or 3x AAA batteries. Modes
The Nitecore NU35 offers three brightness levels for the main white light, two brightness levels for the secondary CRI light, and two modes for the red light. The headlamp also features SOS signaling and quick flashing beacon mode.

The red light can be set to steady or flashing mode. The red color is excellent for gentle illumination as it does not disrupt vision, and the human eye quickly readjusts to the dark when the headlamp is turned off.
The CRI LED is ideal for tasks like reading maps, as it minimizes color distortion.
