Patizon G Quilt 350 comes from the tried and true G series of sleeping bags, now in a quilt version. It's the perfect sleeping bag alternative for those who prioritize low weight. The quilt is filled with 350 g of top-quality goose down with a fill power of 850 cuin and is constructed from the extremely lightweight Pertex Quantum material with DWR treatment. This highly packable quilt is an ideal choice from spring to autumn for all hikers, thru-hikers, bikepackers, and climbers with limited space in their backpack.

How does a quilt differ from a sleeping bag?
To save weight and increase efficiency, the quilts are stripped of everything unnecessary. On the back side, from the waist up, ineffective down that would mostly be compressed under your body is removed, making it practically useless.
The sleeping pad takes care of insulation from the ground. To keep the opening on your back underneath you at all times, the quilt is attached to the sleeping pad using elastic straps. The quilt stays in its basic position all the time, and you can turn around in it. You can use the quilt with any type of sleeping pad (inflatable, foam). The quilt also doesn’t have a hood – you can replace it with a beanie or a down jacket/sweater with a hood.
If you compare a sleeping bag and a quilt with the same weight and down fill power (cuin), the quilt is gonna have better thermal performance. It has more down where you need it – in the upper chambers.
Materials
For the outer and inner side of the sleeping bag, they used Pertex™ Quantum™ fabric (100% recycled nylon) with a weight of 32 g/m2. Besides being lightweight and durable, the fabric stands out for its perfect breathability. On the outside, the fabric is also treated with a DWR water-repellent finish.
The quilt is filled with 350 grams (size M) of goose down with a minimum fill power of 850 cuin and a down to small feather ratio of 90/10. The premium down from European farms is hypoallergenic and meets the criteria for certification according to IDFL a RDS.
The total weight of the quilt including the fastening straps is 585 grams (size M). This quilt is meant for three-season use with a comfort temperature of 0°C and a limit temperature of -5°C.
Construction
The quilt uses a Z-shaped chamber construction that ensures even distribution of insulation while preventing the formation of so-called cold spots at the seams. It’s equipped with a closed, anatomically shaped footbox that provides the ideal down distribution in the foot area throughout your sleep.
The elaborate insulating collar filled with down is placed not only around the neck but also all around the entrance of the quilt. This way, there’s no unnecessary heat loss around your head or on the sides. Plus, you can tighten and snap the collar around your neck with a small flat snap. The quilt doesn’t have a hood.
The sleeping pad attachment system consists of 2 adjustable elastic straps with ultralight aluminum clips and hooks. The straps are fully removable – so only small fabric loops will be left on the quilt.
