Gdry 500 is a top ultralight sleeping bag for all alpinists and demanding users. It’s based on the popular G series from the Czech brand Patizon. The combo of premium insulation and a membrane shell delivers great performance even when bivying in tough conditions, where you can run into higher humidity, snow, wind, or condensation. Materials
On the outside of the sleeping bag there’s an ultralight, waterproof and perfectly breathable laminate CRAFTEVO® 2.5L (100% recycled nylon, PU membrane, 2.5L construction) with a DWR (C0) water‑repellent treatment. Thanks to this membrane shell the bag is also great for bivying in demanding conditions – it stands up to high humidity, snow, wind or condensation. The inside of the bag is made from ultralight, breathable Toray™ Airtastic™ fabric (100% recycled nylon, 33 g/m2) with a DWR (C0) water‑repellent treatment.
In size M, the sleeping bag is filled with 500 grams of goose down with a fill power of at least 850 cuin. The down / small feathers ratio is 90/10. The down is hypoallergenic and meets the criteria for obtaining certification according to RDS. The insulation fill is distributed in the sleeping bag in a 50:50 ratio (top part : bottom part). The sleeping bag is ideal for demanding trips from spring to autumn (comfort temperature -5 °C, limit temperature -10 °C).

Construction and features
The mummy shape naturally follows the curves of the human body, which reduces weight and increases the efficiency of thermal insulation. The lower part is tapered so that you can reach your feet even when it’s fully zipped. The Z-shaped chamber construction ensures an even distribution of insulation inside the baffles and at the same time prevents the formation of so-called cold spots along the seams.
The construction using a straight waterproof SHZ zipper (3 mm, 2 sliders, placed on the left side) makes handling easier, cuts weight, and improves the sleeping bag’s thermal insulation. Along the entire zipper there’s a puffy down-filled draft tube that effectively prevents heat loss. The sleeping bag has a unique self-locking drawcord collar around the shoulders in a “shell” shape, with no need to close a snap or hook-and-loop; you just zip up and pull the drawcord.
The ergonomically shaped hood guarantees effective insulation and lets you move your head both lying down and sitting up. The rim around the hood is filled with CLO Vivo Endurance synthetic insulation, which reduces heat loss, handles exhaled moisture better, and prevents pressure from the drawcord.
Inside the sleeping bag there’s a pocket measuring 20 x 12 cm for stuff you want to keep handy or protected from freezing (phone, power bank, filter, etc.).
The anatomically shaped footbox gives you ideal down distribution in the chambers for the whole night. There are also loops for hanging the sleeping bag, for example when you’re drying it.
Sleeping bag accessories
The sleeping bag comes with a compression sack, which lets you reduce the sleeping bag volume by up to 13x. Size before and after compression in the compression sack is 28 x 19 cm / 23 x 18 cm. The compression sack’s volume is 5,7 l.
So that the sleeping bag doesn’t stay needlessly compressed when you store it at home, you’ll also get a fabric storage bag for it.
