Specifications
Sambob Alpha 90 Hoodie is made from Polartec Alpha Direct fabric with a medium weight of 90 g/m². Because of that, it’s extremely lightweight, breathable, and soft to the touch, while also providing great warmth and regulating temperature during active movements. On its own, it gives enough warmth in mild coolness, and when combined with a windbreaker or waterproof jacket, it significantly boosts thermal comfort. It's a fantastic versatile choice from spring to autumn, or even as an “extra” layer for winter. Hoodies made from Alpha material are very popular among trekkers, thru-hikers, runners and climbers.
The hoodie has a minimalist design with a drawstring hood and elastic cuffs on the sleeves and bottom hem. No pockets. The weight of the hoodie is approx. 130 g (size M).
The hoodie comes in several color options. The NARROW fit is more in line with traditional women's sizes (narrower across the shoulders), while the fit WIDE is more based on traditional men’s sizes (looser, wider shoulders). Materials
Polartec® Alpha Direct is a lightweight, extremely breathable active-insulation fabric made of 100% polyester that can be worn next to skin. It was originally developed for the military. Its structure consists of lofted fibers bonded to a fine mesh. It is produced in various weights (60/90/120 g/m²) for different conditions. In the ultralight community, it has become very popular in recent years thanks to its unique weight-to-warmth ratio.

- The fabric is super soft and "fuzzy" – more prone to snagging (watch out for Velcro, animal claws, thorny bushes, etc.)
Maintenance: Wash your hoodie in cold or lukewarm water (up to 30 °C) on a gentle cycle with a liquid detergent without fabric softeners and bleaches, ideally in a mesh laundry bag so the fabric doesn’t snag on the zippers of other laundry. Air dry it preferably on a hanger or laid flat, avoid high temperatures in the dryer, direct sunlight, and radiators.
