SAWYER Cleaning Coupling for SP129 and SP2129 filters
SAWYER Cleaning Coupling is an adapter for backflushing (cleaning) filters Sawyer Micro Squeeze SP2129 and Sawyer Squeeze SP129. The adapter, together with a standard PET water bottle, can replace the syringe for backflushing; it is lighter and more compact solution.
Lightweight and compact adapter for cleaning Sawyer Squeeze filters.
Usage
- Fill a PET bottle with clean water.
- Screw the adapter (coupling) onto the outlet part of the filter.
- Attach the PET bottle to the adapter.
- Squeeze the PET bottle to backflush the filter (opposite to the filtration direction indicated by the arrow on the filter).
- Repeat the process until the flow rate improves and clean water comes out.
Cannot be used to clean the Sawyer Mini SP128 filter, as it does not have the required thread on the outlet side!
