Sawyer Mini SP128 water filter
Sawyer Mini filter is one of the lightest and smallest travel water filters in the world. It uses hollow microfibers, with membrane walls featuring pore sizes of up to 0,1 microns. With its extremely low weight (40 g), high efficiency (99,999%), and long lifespan (378 000 liters), it ranks among the best in the world.

How does it work?
The filter contains a large number of hollow U-shaped microfibers that trap contaminants while allowing the flow of clean, decontaminated water. The pore size is 0,1 microns; meaning anything larger is captured in the microfibers.
The Sawyer Micro Squeeze filter guarantees the removal of 99,99999% of all harmful bacteria (Salmonella, cholera, E. coli, etc.), parasitic protozoa (Giardia and Cryptosporidium), and 100% of microplastics.

Usage and lifespan
- You can filter water from one bottle to another using the filter.
- You can connect the filter to a hydration bladder and drink directly from it.
- You can drink directly from a water source using the straw.
- You can drink directly from a bottle with the filter attached (compatible with any PET bottle with a standard screw thread)
Compared to the SAWYER SQUEEZE filter, it is smaller, 30 grams lighter, and has a slightly slower flow rate (about 1,2 – 1,5 l/min). Sawyer guarantees a filter lifespan of more than 378 000 liters with regular maintenance.
Maintenance
Protect the filter from freezing. If water freezes inside, it could damage the microfibers. From time to time, backflush the filter using the provided syringe with clean water, flushing in the opposite direction of filtration. Ideally, do this after every trip.
